My bands that just about come a little close to coldplay are:

 

- Muse

- Keane

- The Killers

 

These three bands create powerful music but don't come close to Coldplay!

And how the hell did Greenday get in over Red Hot Chili Peppers... I'm so not participating in this thread anymore. haha.

oh yeah, i knew i missed at least 1 big band out, i just wanted to be in a band like greenday (not my thing) to see what happens

well, for me the greatest band is and probably always will be Led Zeppelin. Other than that my favorites at the moment (besides Coldplay obviously) are Radiohead and SELF.
