I preferred Christian because he seems more "human" in the film - a tortured soul who is being eaten up by thoughts of "revenge". It's much better when you see "superheroes" as flawed characters. They did that with "Spiderman", too!

i love christan bale as an actor anyways he was awesome in american psycho. tortured soul in that as well. but he did a damn fine job in this movie too.

Top Film Batman Begins,

thought it was going to be a prequel to the others but the ending cleared that up.

Can't wait for the next installment.

This is the film of the summer for me, I loved it. Christian Bale is, IMO, the best batman so far, as MC squared said, he appears more human than the others. The humour, also, is more normal. At first I thought the Batmobile was a wee bit chunky but then I got used to it and realised it was OK. Cillian Murphy was brilliant too, really creepy.

And Morgan Freeman never appears in bad films!! :)

i saw this film a while back. thought it was really good. i thought it bought some much needed credibility back to batman after some of the other films were not so good.

I really like the first batman film with jack nickelson as the joker. it was really dark film that bought something new to the batman character. a great cast too

 

batman begins did look really good. nothing too over the top and unrealistic.

 

to me the whole thing about the batman is that he has no superpowers (like superman etc) hes a bit more believe able. you also see the two sides to the character too.

 

good film, can't wait for the next one to see where they take it

Batman Begins is a prequal to the others. Even the first. You got all the background there. Things are explained better then in Batman. The first one. I still reackon the original Batman film is the best. But this is definately better then all the other Batman films. Including Batman 2. Which was pretty good Imo. They had not started getting silly with gadgets and trying to look good. And it stared the Batman from the Original which helped.

yeah i though the first batman was really good. but after that it all got a bit stupid. the new film batman begins is really good tho. tells the story really well
