There was this guy painting a huge Batman Begins mural on the sidewalk outside of the movie theatre, it was incredible!

it was amazing, i loved it! go see it, you wont regret it!

My question is: is it actually good, or is it just good in contrast with the fact that the last few Batman films have been more or less the worst big budget movies in cinematic history?

its good. the best of the batman films (which doesnt say much) but it is good. it will probally be the 4th or 5th best film of theyear. Land of the Dead will of course be the best film of the year hands down

Better than Tim Burton's 1989 Batman?

For me it is the best movie of batman, and also based on a comic. Is a great film. More adult, serious, and realistic. I am glad that they want to do two more :) .

Ok so I saw it last night. It was entertaining, but I didn't like how the writers just destroyed the continuity of the Batman universe. :(
