The title of the thread says it all. As for myself, I have to pick "Achtung Baby" just because it's U2's darkest, most rockiest cd they've ever created. All of the songs on it are great, and there's not one bad song that I could find on this album.

I don't care how cliche it is, The Joshua Tree is still my favorite. :cool:

The Joshua Tree just edges it from Achtung Baby for me.

I have been brought up with U2 and my faves

are The Joshua tree and Boy.

 

We have all of them on original records

UBRS is actually a live 'min-album'. It's Wide Awake in America that's an EP.

 

Side One [of Wide Awake...] has two live tracks (one of which was actually recorded during a soundcheck with tacked on applause) and Side Two had two B-sides left from The Unforgettable Fire (The Three Sunrises and Love Comes Tumbling) which are both amazing, as is the Live version of Bad, but at the end of the day 'Wide Awake...' isn't really worth mentioning it in the poll because anyone who picks it over a proper album is, quite simply, mad...

 

I've voted The Joshua Tree, my opinion swings from that, to Achtung Baby, on a frequent basis...

"Zooropa" is my 3rd favourite U2 album. "The Unforgettable Fire" is 2nd on my list. [listening to "Lemon" right now........ :devilish: ]

this is bound not to count...

but the first one I bought by them was the best of 80-90... and it has the best U2 songs on it (in my opinion)... so that'd be my fav...

That's a greatest hits album though.. not a proper album, it's a compilation of a lot of albums. So, no it wouldn't count. I have it too though, and it's great.
