Who else went on Monday night to feel cheated when the news came around that the video shoot was Tuesday too....?

Cheated?

Did you buy the ticket specifically to be in a music video? You should feel honoured that they chose to put their fans in the video and honoured they used Bolton. They've got to shoot it a few times to have more of a chance of getting what they want :idea2: :D

I agree with Mimi. It came as such a surprise to me that they were going to shoot the video on Monday night... I felt honoured

damn you! i wanted to be in the video shoot! but i live all the way in toronto..

I must admit i did feel cheated also! But i suppose they do have to have a few takes! PLEASE BE MONDAY!! lol :D

NO WAY AS I WENT TO BOTH NIGHTS

:smug:

Hey guys,

I went both nights to the Bolton gigs because I was working as an Assistant Cameraman for the music video, we filmed both nights to get all the footage that we needed eg. many different camera angles for the same part of the song & so on, but...they were also being filmed at the Crystal Palace gig aswell so don't feel too disheartened.

It was a wicked couple of shows & I had prime position in the Sound booth in the middle of the crowd, above everyone's heads...

Well thanks all for the replys, some of us still feel cheated as Chris said they had chosen THAT night, still look forward to the video though. Should just show the band as they performed, no need to gloss anything up, they were excellent.

If you went to either you can still say you were there, they edit parts from boths nights, they use the best footage they've got :)

you get any footage of the upper tiers? or was it all the crowd stood at the front?

we had a crane on the front of the stage which was looking all over the place, I'm sure there will be a shot of the upper tiers to show how huge the crowd was. We had 2 cameras either side of the sound booth, one on the crane which was on the stage, another on a steadicam that was gliding around the stage & about 6 other minicams on stage & in the crowd (on the floor & in the stands) - a lot of cameras!!

As Overcast says: footage from both shows would have been used as they can only record what the lads play, and to get the neccessary camera angles both nights would have been needed, great shows, both of them

This thread makes me sad that I had to wait 9 years, until thier 4th?/5th tour to see them. I feel like Ive missed so much.

all the wasted years
