Denise Posted February 25, 2006 Share Posted February 25, 2006 We say "Voglio imparare l'italiano"...so we don't usually put the subject before the verb when we should say I, you, he, etc. because you can understand the person by the final part of the verb itself as it changes :) so just to give you an example...to want...we would say I want------>(io) voglio You want--->(tu) vuoi He/she/it wants---->(lui/lei/esso) vuole we want---->(noi) vogliamo you want---->(voi) volete they want---->(essi) vogliono I know it's not simple until you get used with it, that's why it's not so easy to learn italian, but I can assure you that Latin is waaayy worse :lol: :lol: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
