kekita
Cheers mariater55 :D could you help me with some of the words in brackets in my last post? how do you say poet for male and female and won? Lugare= place i.e second place recite=? is it ' tu ha ascoltare' or ' tu ha ascoltate'?
mariater55
Ciao! I'm happy to answer your questions! Poet in Italian is "poeta"; a woman poet is "poetessa". (Tu ha ascoltare) : if you intended to say "you have to listen" the translation is "devi ascoltare"; if you meant "you've listened", then the translation is "hai ascoltato". I've won = ho vinto Second place = secondo posto (in a chart, for instance) (secondi attempto) I guess you meant "second try"? then you say "secondo tentativo" or "seconda prova" to recite = recitare; "I recited a poem" = ho recitato una poesia. If you need other advice let me know :)
