Here the anti-thread.

-Okay I really like A message specially the guitar part after "And I'm nothing on my own, gotta get that message home" like in the minute 03:00.

-I really like in the hardest part that part that starts"I could feel it go down" and in the end the beautiful piano.

-Twisted Logic.

Okay you now just post things you like and keep it simple. ;)

When the riff kicks in after the second chorus in "Sqaure One".

Johnny's guitar after the first chorus of "X & Y".

"Everything I know is wrong....."That whole part is what saved The Hardest Part from becoming my most hated Coldplay song ever.

A Message...the best thing about this record.

The piano of Speed of Sound

Finally the anti-thread... What took us so long

- How Jonny cycles through all the Edge-like riffs on Square One. And the accoustic ending.

- The front accoustic/ quiet parts in What If, A Message.

- Fix You- without that church organ

- All of the rockish guitar parts (when they're not accompanied by Guy's campish bass), even when they "ruin" the song e.g. on A Message/What If... Also, I'm learning to appreciate the "camp-ish" baselines :P

- The Kraftwerk riff in Talk

- All the nice production touches (hit-or-miss on this album): spoons on Low, wind-tunnel sound at the beginning of Talk

- The exhilarating piano at the beginning of The Hardest Part

- Total rock tracks White Shadows and Low

- How they "borrowed" off so many people and made the parts their own e.g. Radiohead's There There last two drum snaps in Square One, Karma Police (I think) in X&Y, Twisted Logic (another track off OK Comp) etc.

- The un-ending spiralling melody of Swallowed In The Sea

I like:

Square One

The drumming and the melody in the verses

What If

The strings that make the track sound like the beatles and johnnys guitar parts at the end

Fix You

The organ sonds really good, johnnys simple but effective guitar bit and the four part vocal at the end.

Talk

Johnnys guitar part in the build up to the rock out bit

X&Y

The string doing a reprise bit at the end

Speed of Sound

The drumming using the toms and floor tom (not sure if thats the right names) Guys bass parts really work too and i also like the synths in the track

A Message

Love the open tuning acoustic, lovely sounding chords

Low

the bit near the end where he sings "i feel low"

but to be honest i like it all really :)
