WRONG!

10-20 years. Harmful stuff too. Guess how much recycled material is used in paper bags?

The tesco bags are, or claim to be, 100% degradable..plus you can always recycle the bags..

ok.. here's one.. but I can't say I haveever experienced it first hand, but here it goes.

Whats with people in Europe driving on the left side of the road and having the steering wheel on your vehicles on the right???? Why does this have to be different than here in the western world???

That's not Europe. That's just Britain. Sheesh. The rest of Europe drives on the right side, steering wheel on the left side. Get your info right.

Dont Australians drive on the left side as well?

Due to our history, all current and former British colonies drive on the left... So that includes Australia, New Zealand, India, Malaysia & Singapore, etc.

I know, it's a stupid cliché, but it's true:

The extreme friendliness (I have no idea if this is the correct expression) of Asian people are ANNOYING

Wha??? WTF!!! You mean you'd rather have us SCREAMING AT YOU ALL THE TIME LIKE THIS?????!!!!!

How would you like to start WWIII?

No, I don't want anyone to scream at me, but I also don't want everybody to smile at me all the f*ckin' time. Yes, I'm a sad and bitter person and I can't stand too much happiness

yeh we do drive on the left side. lol we think its crazy about ppl driving on the right side but thats just the way it is... ive done 20 hrs on my learners permit! :D

To be fair, I'll add one thing that pisses me off about Finland: Traffic lights. Everywhere. In the UK, they have a lot of traffic circles (or roundabouts, or whatever they are called), which work great. In here, always when you drive, it's drive-stop-drive-stop-drive-stop. It's especially annoying in the mid-city where you spend 2/3 of your time waiting for traffic lights to change. In the UK, the traffic flows a lot smoother because you don't need to stop all the time. You just slow down, find a slot, drive in, drive out, and that's it. Ingenious.

I don't think it's weird at all. Well, I don't drive a car yet, I'm too young, but I think they work quite well. I just don't understand those roundabouts. They might work well, but I think traffic lights work better. Sometimes it's really annoying when you have to wait so long, but I've used to it because I've lived here all of my life. :)

Aww that's sad. I tend to be sad and bitter too but I like people to smile a lot (at least on-line) coz it reminds me to be happier with my life :D

Yea I know, smiling even when there's nothing to smile at can be annoying... I'm not too sure though why we do it, it just is I guess.

I had a psychology lecturer from the UK once... He told us one of the most fascinating (and exasperating) things about our local culture was the need to smile at everything. He'd approach government officers at the counter about a problem, they couldn't do anything, and all they would do was just stand there, shrug, and smile at him... He told us he felt like strangling them!

Oh well, what to do... It's terminal I suppose... *shrug* ... ... :D
