Che il prossimo album dei Coldplay possa uscire molto prima del previsto? Non è detto, ma Chris Martin dei Coldplay ha confermato che la band è già al lavoro su canzoni che dovrebbero finire sul successore di “X&Y”. Intervistato da Chris Evans, che a metà anni Novanta fu il DJ più pagato del Regno Unito, ai microfoni di Radio2 della BBC il cantante ha riferito che il gruppo sta componendo nuovi brani e che ciò gli provoca ansietà. “In questo periodo non riesco a dormire, stiamo scrivendo roba nuova”, ha detto Martin. Il marito di Gwyneth Paltrow ha anche promesso che i testi miglioreranno perché ritiene che quelli finora composti non siano un granché.

Pochi giorni prima il frontman del gruppo britannico, intervistato dall’emittente radiofonica Xfm, aveva affermato: "Abbiamo terminato la prima fase dei Coldplay ed ora stiamo facendo l'ingresso nella fase due, che potrebbe essere la fase alla Abba o la fase da travestiti, e chi lo sa. Comunque sarà sicuramente buona".
