Elsje - I like it a lot. It's short but sweet and it calms me as it says that for everything bad that happens, there's a good thing that follows.

 

And, it has reminded on one of my poems that i posted on my space...

 

 

Ambivalent

 

 

From laughter to weep

From light to shadow

From hope to despair

From a smile to a tear

From day to night

I keep thinking of

him

It's called Leaving

 

I can't spend much time

To be someone I wanted to find

Life's too short to be a fake

And it's too short to stay in the dark.

Living my life is one of my plans

Guided both by love and life' hands

The sun is warming me up, I hear

The sound of my deepest whispers.

 

My life isn't here anymore

I didn't want this first,

Rowing my boat off the shore

Will make me give all my guts.

Still running after my future

I want to make it pure,

Throw all my worries away

And carry on my way, I say:

 

"These duties I'm going to leave

This new life I'm going to live

I was looking for it, my new lane

I'll land off in this plane..."

 

If today I'm still here,

I didn't have the chance to leave.

I want to be away, see something new

Tired to wait for it, will it happen soon?

I'll give up all, to live something else

I'll throw it all not to be myself

I wait for letting my past behind me

Thinking about this, I just say:

Leaving, just leaving this boring life

Stopping all those knives

Which are coming to stab me.

I'm yearning for dreams

I want to escape to some places

Called You...

 

Those three words I'd like to hear

Write them with my blood,

Let them shinning under this gold,

This quiet and peaceful morning sun.

 

Hm...Sometimes when I see something like that, I just cant find words to describe the pictures in my head. :thinking: Maybe I am crazy, or something. :sneaky:

 

The morning sun is always quite, especially in autumn. Yes, autumnal poem (at least as I see it).

Feelings,

These things are confusing

Me, in my head they're running,

I can't control anything.

 

Sometimes, they start a war

They hold me in the dark

They try to eat me like does a shark

They don't want me to be back in the light.

 

Like a strong river I don't control the streams

My feelings carry on all what they're founding,

I'd like to calm them down, I'm like a twig,

Across the sea, trying to stop those strong tides.

 

The space they take in my heart

Their strengh put me in the light

And they lift me for a flight

To travel until the coming night.

 

Each beating is more intense

I carry on crossing the fence

The fence of his rush I always feel,

Such a fire, running through my body.

When you see all's going wrong

You believe you won't be strong enough

You know all's messing,

Nothing's right and it's failing.

You heart carries so much pains

You're forgetting all what you're sick of.

You wonder what's travelling in you

It's music, helping you to get through.

 

You're tired of running and waiting for it

But you know you really need it.

Worries don't make you sweet

Then you see what's happening.

 

Suddenly you feel like all is gone

Someone's singing for you, you're not alone.

Music tightens your little heart

It's like entering a world apart

Berries fall upon us like fairies

Yesterday we had dreams about drugs

Crack takes us back to color the black

I snack on crack to have more fairy attacks

And then fly to the sky to get really high

Too, just like us they must discuss

Dreams about homosapien human things

The ugly fat things without any wings

Frying fishes to make pretty dishes

They wish it was delicious

My life I tried to carry on living,

I waited for winter to become spring

I was a dead, willing to be alive.

Doubts and fears kept slightly my mind,

I didn't want to slip in this river,

I thought it would have caught me forever,

But I didn't sink there, I've been saved.

I've been kept alive, back in another place.

All's been emphasized, all's stronger

I lost you, it's sad, but I'm someone better.

Day by day, step by step, I started over new,

So, this is a new one, called Winter.

 

All around and inside, winter invades me.

A slight wind starts to blow, and I see

A poor leaf, falling down and it flies

To my hands, this tree released its last cries.

 

White clouds cover the sun, burst into the sky

Some icy pearls come from the furthest space

Days are going shorter, light fades out everyday

Each year, all's turning the same way.

 

All's getting dark so quickly, all's getting so strange

During months, night's becoming my usual life

The cold moon pushes me over the edge

Its light strikes my skin like knives.

 

Then all goes longer, daylight lasts

The sun rises when I get up, it warms my heart

Darkness and ice are swept away,

Like leaves are lift up by the wind, everyday.

 

Coldness has been torn, opening a new door in my mind

I can feel the sun, it rises up and it shines
