Here's a new one...

 

I started it two weeks ago.

 

Called Locked.

 

Thousands of thoughts in my head

Are making me anxious and troubled.

Where is this key I can't find?

Why can't I access to my mind?

 

My mind is like a stranger

Should I feel endangered?

He's hidding in the dark,

And I'm dying in the light.

 

Like a broken bottle

My inspiration slipped away

I'm exploding like a bubble

There's nothing more to say.

Well, ppl, unexpected, but so good...

Inspiration knocked at my door yesterday evening

 

Anyway, this is my last poem, just over, now.

It sums up perfectly my life since three years til now.

 

It's called From The Dark To The Light.

 

A sudden loss made me dive,

Dive into the darkest nights.

During days and days,

I was looking for a piece of spark.

Sadness was gaining space

My mind was leaving, without a trace.

I didn't know if I could be back

I didn't know if I could overcome this lack.

 

All sounded like noises,

Loads of cuts and bruises

All I could live, all I could see,

Nothing made any sense.

I was always closing my eyes,

Avoiding the saving lights

From the beautiful sky,

I didn't even try to fly.

 

But each day, I could see

The seasons, coming and going,

The sun, rising, shinning and setting,

The rain, the snow slowly falling,

The wind was roughly blowing,

The life was being more charming.

 

The spotlight was coming above me,

Step by step, without realizing it,

And in a matter of seconds,

Life came here to beckon

To me, I saw those signs anywhere,

Everyday, I could hear whispers,

They were talking louder and louder,

I was feeling stronger than never.

 

A pounding heart was calling,

Its beatings were coming to my ears,

It was asking for a welcome love.

I could give all the love I had,

All I had inside me, it's like letting a river

Going and running faster and faster.

This great feeling I can feel,

Has swept away all my heals.

 

And everyday, I could see

The seasons, coming and going,

The sun, rising, shinning and setting,

The rain, the snow slowly falling,

The wind was roughly blowing,

The life was being more charming.

 

Reaching the most peaceful skies,

I get lost into your deep eyes

Come on honey, take me for a while

Let's have a great and delightful flight.

No question, no answer, just you and me

Floating slowly on the azur sea.

Depression

 

Fell again but not for the first time and now everything's gone

Left my heart empty now, not sure if I belong

My mind was asking me to write a simple song

I try my best to, but I'm empty for too long

 

Book was open and the pages were burned

I think it's my weakness though I have learned

Look out the window just to see the sky

It's hard to see while you confront yourself with answers everyday

I only have questions and always wonder why..

Your touch and your warmth,

Being gathered in your arms,

Your eyes locked in mines,

My heart is the Earth and you're the sun,

The sun which shines.

Here comes my turn,

My turn to be lost in your dark sight.

I'm going to live a wonderful night...

The sun's already shinning,

Called Prisoner

 

The spark of my eyes is disappearing,

When I enter this place, shivering.

The same white walls seem to be

Closer and closer to me.

 

Breathing becomes tough

I can't hold the rough cough

My heart's yearning for freedom

I'm willing to reach another kingdom.

 

I think of every quiet morning,

When I miss the sun, rising,

No real daylight, no fresh air,

I could do anything to feel real

Cold air from outside there.

I can't hide what I feel.

 

Like a weak and innocent prisoner,

The calls of freedom are stronger,

Everyday, this cursed place tries to kill me,

Making me dry of any thought, any idea.

I feel like a dead soul, who's wandering

To a place where my head could stop aching.
