September 3, 200520 yr I was looking at the other Coldplay message board on coldplay.com and there was a thread about Coldplay songs that make you cry... For me, Amsterdam always makes me cry, the Scientist, and Fix You
September 3, 200520 yr I don't cry if I just hear them, but sometimes when I try to sing along with Swallowed in the Sea or Fix You I choke up a bit. Memories, memories.
September 3, 200520 yr ^ THANKS  BUT MY MOM ALWAYS CRYS ITS SAD SEEING HER CRY I FEEL ;IKE I CAN DO NOTHING
September 3, 200520 yr Yeah... My grandma died a couple of days before Christmas in '03. Her cards to us were still in the tree and everything, so when we opened them it was pretty hard. BUT... Time keeps passing and it's always okay, just remember that. :) Oi, making me sad. I'm singing ('Til) Kingdome Come in my head... I have to stop!
September 3, 200520 yr ^Don't worry, my grandma died as well a few months ago and my mum had to go back to her home country for the funeral. It's tough but letting yer mum know yer there for her sometimes helps. :/ I'm starting to ramble. Fix You balls my eyes out.
September 3, 200520 yr About a month ago I lost my BEST BEST BEST BEST freind in the entire world. Its really hard to deal with but when the whole thing was happening, I absent mindedly listed to fix you, and the part "tears stream down your face, when you loose something you can not replace.." made me loose it, and I couldnt stop blubbering and crying. When I saw it live last tuesday, it was really hard to fight the tears. she should have been there with me. :bigcry: I bought the tickets for her and I but she decided that she couldnt see us being freinds anymore. I think thats why Coldplay means so much too me, I got into them when I was haveing a very very tuf spot in my life. I love Coldplay.
September 3, 200520 yr Fix you makes me cry cause it always makes me think what would happen if i lost s member of my family    Not a nice thing to think about at all :(
September 3, 200520 yr in my place, fix you, warning sign...   no reason to explain why...

September 3, 200520 yr Fix You, because I lost one of my best friends back in March, and the song made me think of him, and at the beginning where it goes "and the tears come streaming down your face, when you lose something you can't replace", I had to let loose and cry a little. EDIT: Ah, right, Warning Sign does it for me too.
September 4, 200520 yr i don't cry during there songs but fix you hits home v/c of when you loose something you can't replace. My nana is that something. and plus it reminds me of how single i am.
September 4, 200520 yr Normally I have to be in the right mood for songs to make me cry, but when I am... the songs that normally do it are The Scientist, Warning Sign, AROBTTH, Amsterdam, and Fix You. I also cried when I saw The Scientist live.. couldn't help it, haha :embarrased:
September 4, 200520 yr I CRY ALSO IN WARNING SING AND SCIENTIST OR GREEN EYES SOME REASON I JUST DON'T WANT TO SAY!
September 4, 200520 yr Oh, yeah. A Warning Sign kind of makes me think about my brother. The whole "Yeah, the truth is... I miss you" and "I'm tired, I should not have let you go" gets to me. It's been hard these past four years he's been in the army. COLDPLAY, WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME?
September 4, 200520 yr How You See the World. Because it explains absolutely EVERYTHING I've been thinking, going through the entire summer. Whenever I'm feeling low (ahah, no pun intended) I'll put on Coldplay and cry. They've helped me through a lot over the past 4 years of my life. At the moment, Fix You seems to do it for me.
