Just woundering if anyone else has bought this yet, the debut album from THE RAKES...Its fucking brill...i love it...22 grand job is such a great song.

na theyll be gone in half a year, I got hold of their album in may for the wirless festival and theyre not great live or on cd and nothing orignal, but im sure they'll be the next big thing for a while dammit...

Capture/Release is a great album, i am seeing them live next year....

 

highly reccomended to anyone into franz, maximo park, bloc party, futureheads etc etc

 

all the stuff noel gallagher hates then....

I like them. Got the album last week and I like it but they blatantly just sound like bloc party and franz :rolleyes:

I saw them live last week supporting Franz Ferdinand in Manchester and they were quite good. Might give the album a go... if I can afford it!

The singer sounds like the guy from Bloc Party. But I think they're pretty good. Seeing them live tommorow, should be pretty kewl :D
