The U.S. Open Tennis

Just saw Kim Clijsters give Venus Williams a much-deserved whuppin'.

Ha ha - I can't stand the Williams ogres!! :D

 :snore:

Well, I'm not really interested about it.

Yeah a tennis thread....thanks.....mmh donT like the williwams too....well I like it more to watch men tennis....

Yeah don't like roddick too....I like federer...but he kicked out Kiefer the german :(

Federer is a coool player. Could be the best if he keeps on going.

People havent quite realised it but we are in the middle of a golden age when it comes to tennis. Both mens and womens (Especially with Henin Hardenne and Clijsters coming back).

The men's game is full of gigantic hitters who still move and defend brilliant, Federer (One of the best, ever), Roddick, Nadal, Hewitt, Safin, 5 great players and individual characters who are making the game great. 1 or 2 of those would be enough to make a whole generation of tennis interesting, mixed in with other decent players.

The US Open has been really exciting. Gasquet vs Ginepri a few nights ago was an absolutely brilliant match. Sharapova and Petrova was very good last night, and Clijsters comeback over Venus was so unexpected.

It's been a great Open.

i'm there or not

go Amelie :lips:
