"After last night, it comes as no suprise when word comes around that today's show has been postponed. Nobody likes to pull a show. In the time I've worked for the band (and well over 200 gigs), they've cancelled two shows. One as a result of the roof begin torn from the stage due to a hurricane and a another due to Chris' voice being so shot that the doctor ruled that attempting to sing could cause permanent damage.

 

Today makes three. It's the same story now. It's almost impossible that Chris could get so much as a croak out tonight. Moreover, if he did, he would almost certainly do damage to his voice that could mean losing the remaining shows."

 

Awww I hope they don't postpone the next couple of dates! :stunned: But I hope he feels better soon.. :(

Was on my way to the show in tampa when we got the news

 

Pretty upset b/c we have looked forward to this since June.

The say they are trying to resked it but we in Tampa are all

skeptical...this freakin sucks..i guess tampa is SOL

Well it quite awful... i was really happy wednesday morning when i woke up... knowing that i was gonna spend a magical evening... it all fell down when i hit to parking entrance of the venue and one security guy handed me a pink paper saying "COLDPLAY POSTPONED!!!!".. i was about to ask "where is it the closest place to park from the venue entrance?" all excited and that... just right before i knew that i was gonna start immediately to drive back home... more than a hour to get back to Kissimmee.. lets hope we get coldplay back in Florida before they start the European leg of the tour...

awn..poor chris, hope he gets better

that's so sad...hope chris feels better...at the new york show, i could tell he was starting to lose his voice. :cry: :(

needlesstosay..there are a lot of disappointed folks in

Central Florida today. My wife and I were bummed the entire night

after we got the news...i just hope they do the right thing and come

back..after all the show was almost a sellout..only thing left was lawn seats...man this sucks! i would be not happy if Tampa was the only show that had to take one for the team and didn't get a return date

but you want to know freaky... my sister who is just as obssessed as i am with coldplay, throughout the entire week she told me constantly that she was feeling as though we werent going to go...then the same exact day of the concert she was extremely down at school and was having throat problems out of nowhere...(this has happened before with other things... ) :stunned: :stunned: :stunned: :stunned:

Yeah i reeeaaally hope that his voice is going to be ok! As much as im dying to see them i'd rather them cancel if chris got ill than his voice get damaged, that would be awful :cry: !!!!

True, but u know what i mean.......but if they did cancel i can imagine i'd be absolutley gutted for aaages, i rekon i'd actually cry. I dont even wanna think about it. I really do feel for u guys who havent been able to go. :cry:
