HELP: Are Cameras allowed?

Featured Replies

Hey all, I'm new here : ) Anyway, I just got Row E tickets to the St. Louis show tonight and I'm super stoked!! Just wondering, are cameras allowed at Coldplay performances? I've never been to one so I don't know.

Thanks for the help!

cameras

Josh,

Not only are they allowed, they are encouraged... definitely bring one along! :)

I am so bringing mine even if they aren't allowed! ;)

It sucked. We followed the venue rules ("NO CAMERAS OR RECORDERS") only to find out that Coldplay wanted you to take pictures and stuff! Argh!

Gah!! AMAZING night -- words can't even describe. I'm just... wow. I love these guys. I did bring a camera with me... hopefully the pictures will turn out ok. Where I was sitting, Chris came over a couple times and he was literally 5 feet away! I hope my friend got good shots of that. I can't wait to see these guys again in the future. Just the energy of the band, the crowd -- magical ; )

Chris sounded great tonight, but when he was speaking to the crowd he did sound like he was still a little conjested. I wouldn't say he's completely out of the woods as far as his health is concerned.

I hope to develop my photos tomorrow and I'll post them here asap!

Oh, please post them! The show was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok...ok...I have a question too!?...do you know what´s in the afterparty If I got a VIP tick!!!!????...do you get to see them!?...to speak with them!?... :stunned:

pleeeeeeease...somebody answer me this before friday show!...otherwise I´ll kill my self! :P

can you REALLY take digital cameras(preferably video)? becuse in the venue site says we cant????

joyce-i belive you'll see at least one of them. there's probably an aftershow which's main purpose is talking to fans.. IMHO

The "no cameras" rule that Coldplay and the venues have means no professional cameras, i.e. those with a detachable lens. Digital cameras, disposable cameras, and just your everyday $30 camera are allowed.

TAKE YOUR CAMERAS!

During Low, they flashed on the big screen "Get your cameras ready and take a photo!" Then they counted down and at 0, they turned on all the huge lights and turned the cameras on the crowd so we could get pictures of ourselves on stage! I didn't bring a camera since the venues don't always allow them, but I had my camera phone. I was just too far back to get any good shots. But definitely take a camera!

cameras were encouraged at the columbus show, you just couldnt have a professional type lense

THAT was awesome...I haven't got my pictures developed yet so I don't know if I was shown in one of them, its possible though :) .

I'm pretty sure Coldplay promotes picture taking, they all even pulled out their own tonight and took a bunch of pics of the crowd.

They let you, as long as you're not a bloody critic
