i can't wait for the new album!

BUMP, it's gonna be great. In These Arms, Feeling the Pull, and Low Rising all have been released. Low Rising sounds very Van Morrison-y, which I guess makes sense as he's Glen's biggest influence.

 

Anyone else seeing them on this tour? I'm going November 7th in Rhode Island. I'm sooo pumped.

You should. Reviewers say they almost always meet-and-greet with fans after. And many times not even just a few autographs, but they'll actually go chill with some fans and just talk for like an hour!

I just saw the movie Once yesterday, and I absolutely feel in love with Glen's music! It's bloody brilliant!!

^Indeed it is. Believe it or not, the music he made with The Frames over the years is even better than the music from that film.

The two songs do share some vague similarities as far as structure and organization. I could see why you could hear similarities.

I too want a new Frames album but Swell Season is absolutely terrific and it's what Glen wants right now so I say let him be this creative in this type of music while he can. But The Frames need to get back to work, they especially need to tour the US, I MUST see them. I MUST see Fitzcarraldo live.
