November 20, 200520 yr I was just wondering how you guys got your cameras or other video devices through the security as I would like some help trying to sneak them in. Something like a digital camera. THX!!! :D :D :D
November 20, 200520 yr i was able to sneak my digital camera in at the last coldplay concert here in dallas. the security always "says" no cameras, but they don't really check. i just have a big purse, so i put it at the bottom and put a few things over it. i also have some pockets on the side that i just face towards me whenever i open my bag for them to inspect. does that help? :)
November 20, 200520 yr Actually Coldplay allows (at least to every major show that I've been to) non-professional photography equipment to be brought in, so you don't need to hide your point and shoot camera. Security won't say anything.
November 20, 200520 yr i had the digital camera in my sock ;) there was a ;itt;e prob;e, when it wanted to jump out pf it but i started to walk as if i'm injuried ;) (with the pain in my face ;) ) and it was ok!
November 20, 200520 yr I'm not sure if I saw anything that prohibited photography, but I still stuck it in my back pocket of my jeans... I can't even remember if there was security... just tons of people taking tickets...
November 20, 200520 yr digital cameras are fine in fact, all cameras are permitted EXCEPT professional ones with add-on lens etc . . .
November 21, 200520 yr Author Thats great to hear...I was afraid that they would not allow digital cameras. On ticketmaster.com, they said that no video capturing or cameras allow. Thats great to hear!
November 21, 200520 yr You definitely want to take a camera. There's a part during one of the song's (Low i believe) that they actually prompt you to take a pic.
November 21, 200520 yr digital cameras are fine in fact, all cameras are permitted EXCEPT professional ones with add-on lens etc . . . which makes no sense these days, because a lot of people have these types of cameras.
November 21, 200520 yr Not nearly as many people have professinal (I assume that we are referring to Digital SLR photography equipment) equipment as point and shoot cameras. And if you have access to professional equipment, it's likely that you have access to amateur equipment somewhere as well.
November 21, 200520 yr Well I have token video! What you have to do is have a Digital Camera and just don't let a security gaurd see you! and just record! :P
November 21, 200520 yr it wont even matter they actually ask you to take pictures during one of the songs..
November 22, 200520 yr I hope that's true. Cameras were allowed at the White River show near Seattle which was outdoors. The 2006 show is in Key Arena and they didn't allow cameras at the Foo Fighters show...so hopefully they comply with Coldplay's requests of allowing cameras.
November 22, 200520 yr I'm pretty sure the band and the people representing the band get to decide whether or not cameras are allowed, and yea, coldplay pretty much allows you to bring in cameras and take pictures. So did U2, even though there were signs that said "no cameras."
November 23, 200520 yr I put mine in a make up bag and it's not like they checked it... they just looked inside of my purse and that's it. It was too easy. Security saw it... so many people had them... and they didn't do a thing.
