December 10, 200520 yr I'm so happy for you that you got to meet them and still kicking myself that I didn't stay. When you called me, I was almost to I-10 and I thought hey if I turn west and drive straight thru, I could get to LA intime for KROQ christmas and Leno, but 20 more hours of driving didn't look too appealing.

December 10, 200520 yr Author well even though i didnt get tickets, i saw the recording on another screen. anyways as i was leaving, i went to the building where the recording was taking place "cuz you never know", right? well i saw them!! i got all their autographs and pictures there was about 15 other ppl which was perfect, and when they came out they signed autographs :D
December 10, 200520 yr im sure it didnt' date=' so how ya feeling today? i think im still shaking from the cold[/quote'] knackered! It was nice of that guy to come out and give us the VIP tickets, but damn he could have done that while we still had feeling in our feet! The free food and booze made up for it. It was very wierd experience....catered Coldplay. The waiters going around with hors doeuvre trays was just too much!
December 10, 200520 yr 60 Minutes was in Austin with them :stunned: so you just waited outside and they gave you VIP passes? very cool. i wonder why 60 minutes was there...thats a news program that rarely covers entertainment type news...and i doubt that most coldplay fans watch it
December 10, 200520 yr The simulcast thing was really intended for the ACL sponsers. Coldplay requested so many tickets at the taping that most of the businesses and people that contribute money to make ACL possible couldn't get in. So they came up with the simulcast idea. It had never been done in the 31 year ACL history. They had food and booze. They opened up part of the auditorium to fans that also wanted to see them. This guy came out and asked what we were waiting inline for. We told him to see them show. He asked why we didn't just go in. Because GA can't go in until 7:45. He left and came back with some VIP tickets for us. Vey cool.
