Governor Schwarzenagger and his whole anti imigrant thing...i find it soooo ironic because hes an imigrant himself. He says that he thinks people should speak perfect english, he can't even pronounce the name of the state he governs for.

 

Also, hes killing the education sysetm (along with Bush)...so much money is being take to be spent on homeland security...Your guys' schools may not really be getting affected, but where I live, all the high schools turned into crap b/c there wasnt enough money.

 

The high school I'm at now barely salvaged it's music, visual/performing arts classes.

 

If we focused more on education, we'd have less idiots like Bush running the country.

the reasons ahve all been the same since day one. he has not changed a single one. its the media who has changed. he stated at the begging all the reasons, freeing them, wmd's, terrorism and stopping saddams murder. it was all there people just chose at first to pay attention only to the wmd's for a while then they switched to terrorism and such. so dont fool yourself with that. you can look back on his speechs from day 1 and its all there.

Anybody else really pissed off at Bush? I mean, what hes doing with the whole "monitoring" of phone calls it practically similar to the secret police and such from the soviet union way back in the day.

 

Plus, he goes on and on about victory in Iraq and intelligence and all this other stuff...hes trying to brainwash ppl.

 

I dunno, I heard the speech yesterday morning on the radio and got mad. Then I had a whole argument with some ignorant guy in my class who said Bush was "pimp" for going out to war.

 

Thanks for listening to me vent part of my frustration...I would go on for pages on this topic if possible.

 

The whole thing about the intellegence listening in on conversations is not something new. The FBI, CIA, Secret Service even local police have done it without your concent. Is it against our rights? Somewhat depending whether you are breaking the law to begin with.

 

So if they have to listen in on conversations involving planned terrorist attacks, so be it. They will continue doing what they did in the past, the only difference is they made a public statment about it and developed an Act to make his image and the administration look good.

 

War is neccessary, but it went too far a long time ago.
