Talk Live Vocals

Featured Replies

I'm a big fan of the song, but while listening to it being performed live (first on ACL, then at the MTV Europe Awards) it occured to me that Martin was trying to sound like Thom Yorke during the verse. I'm not going crazy, am I? My friend agreed with me. It seems as if he attempts to emulate Yorke's distinct vocal style during the verses, somewhat less during the chorus, but especially during the verse live it seems like he's trying to do it dead on.

Anyone else hear this?

i suppose it is just me, then, but i still can't get over how much he's trying to sound like yorke in these. :-/

Chris likes Yorke and Radiohead, but he's not so cheap and stupid that he would sing like him on purpose, I think. :/
