Do you even know what a slave is? It's a person making the work for someone else without replacement or paying. The whole concept with a slave is that it is unfair. If you should pay them and didn't beat them then they wouldn't be slaves, but servants/butlers/Au pairs etc. :o

Though I can't see what's so disgucting about it. If two people love eachother, why shouldn't they be together without being classed as "sinners" or "disgusting people". Yes, I can find it a bit disgusting with two people making out like horny dogs in the middle of the street, but that goes for all people, not just homosexuals. Just claiming my opinion here. :)

 

i dont really wanna go much further into this...because people will get really mad...as far as im gonna say is murder, sex before marriage, drugs, lust, stealing, homosexuality are all equal...no one is worse or less worse then the other...a lie is no worse then a murder, but they have different consequences(sp??) like a lie may jsut get someome mad at me, while murder could get me into jail.

slavery is ownership of someone, therefore u can make them work 4 u without pay etc

I just said I didn't blame God, I clearly pointed out people are misusing religion for their actions as lame excuses to cover what they did.

And you're right about one thing; The bible never directly says to harm people, it does that in another way, by saying it's (I repeat) ok with slaves, women should obey their husbands, and being against homosexuality.

I believe in the Bible and the Bible say that at the begining God create Adam and Eve.

do you know what a slave is? it's someone who you own. That's it, you don't have to be unfair, you don't have to abuse them. They just do their duty.

a sin is a sin...all equaly as bad..but consequences are different...there is NO contradiction in that. one sin is no worse then another...but because of human they have different punishments. the goverment will punish me for killing but lying to a friend a goverment could care less about...that doesnt make one worse...it may in teh eyes of the goverment but in all in all no one is better or worse.

Yes. but since in very rare cases innocent people have been killed and it actually cost more then life in prison i think we should do away with it..except for extremely violent criminals...like cerial killers.

Richard brutelessly rapes and kills 5 women and children and get the same punishment. Not going to Heaven.

(I am aware of Dante's theories of the different levels of Heaven and that would be different catagories of punishment, but just not going to Heaven seems like tough enough for me)

I definitely believe the government has a right to penalize their own citizens with death if they break a law within reason. It's my personal opinion that we should only penalize someone who is not going to change in the future or is going to do bad things continually.

a sin is a sin...and you cant get into heaven with ANY sin....thats were jesus comes in..he takes away all your sins with his death. the ONLY way into heaven is having a spotless record and when jesus died and you accept him your record is wiped clean and kept clean.

I sure do know about forgiveness. I've seen people making me feel so miserable, treated me so badly I wished I could just be gone, yet today I have forgiven them for what they did.

 

And how about those not believing in Jesus? How about the Jews, the Muslims, the Hindus, the Buddhists? If we all are equal as the bible says, then they should also get the same treatment after life, and thereby earn a ticket to Hell. Now, that sounds very unfair.

life is unfair. thats how it works. everyone is equal but because we are equal doesnt mean we get the same punishment or lack of punishment after death...anyone can go to heaven it takes beleiving and accepting jesus christ.
