Holy crap, another Asian Coldplay fan!!!! I'm Asian too! Woot woot...Thai and Lao with a sliver of Chinese thrown in...

My family are all into rap...and I swear if I hear another "Fiddy" Cent song, I'm going to rip my eardrums out.

Long live Coldplay and their diverse fans!!! To you all!!!

Never mind - he might grow out of it!! :P

 Aaaaargh i cant find it!!!!!!!!!!

Toooo.........many............picturessss............... :dizzy:

I hadn't ever thought about the ethnic diversity of Coldplay fans (since we anyway know, how diverse CP fans can be, in general...which is, what I find to be so amazing), until I read that Filter article, back in September (I think?).

Whatever? I mean, who cares, at all? I know, I don't.

We all are aware of this special sense of togetherness and...solidarity we feel, because of what we feel for CP. And that is, what's most important. To me, anyway.

(Btw, thanks for those Brandy songs, Steph :D )

I'm Indian! I'm prolly one of the few Indian Coldplay fans.

 Aaaaargh i cant find it!!!!!!!!!!

Helloooo. Well, I'm Muslim, a Pakistani, might I add, lol.

And like ladybug mentioned, I too never thought of what colour Coldplay fans are, you like what you like, you don't what you don't. However, it's nice seeing loads of people like Coldplay. :D

Yay thanks!!!!! It was driving me bonkers!

That still doesn't explain what it means!! :P

Does that explain it to you mc_squared??

Hey, I'm black. But when I usually go to concerts of white artists, I don't see much variety: went to see Coldplay and U2 in Atlanta and could count the number of blacks (excluding the workers, of course) I saw on one hand. But I live in the South, so go figure. But the fans I interacted with were very nice. And I don't care how many non-white people I see at a concert.

When I went to see Lucinda Williams, I was at the very front, so I figured I was going to see some "interesting" white fans, to say the least. And boy was I right. There was this middle-aged white man near me. He looked back at me once and never looked back. And then during the concert, he threw up white power salutes at Lucinda. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought that I might have mistaken things. But after he threw up his salute the first time, his wife looked back at me like she was ashamed of her husband. And he was drinking too. She tried to minimize what he was doing during the show without being conspicuous, and she kept looking back at me. I could tell she was hoping that I didn't see what he was doing or that I didn't know what he was doing. I am young after all. That was an interesting concert experience. On my left there were a few young college town kids singing all the words, one of whom was Asian; in front of me were lesbians who were very open with their sexuality to say the least; and on the right was Mr. White Power and his crew, who were drinking, probably lower-class from their appearance (a couple were missing teeth), and who kept repeating that they have been with Lucinda from day one.

But anyway, Coldplay fans are the best. Really. :) :) :) We're all such nice people.

Does that explain it to you mc_squared??

No - because you still haven't explained why he was wearing it in the first place and whether it meant anything to HIM!! :P

Because he reckons that Coldplay ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE COUNTRY. He didn't want to have that plastered all over his t-shirt, so he chose the word SAWMILLERS.

Sawmillers are hardworking mo fos.......

I'm a black coldplay fan, and i love them. But at school it is sometimes hard to talk to my black friends about it as they are almost all into r & b and rap, if u say u like a rock band i would be getting funny looks all year! lol :)

Same for me at work. I don't care. I talk about them anyway...

And where did it say all this?? Do you have documentary evidence?? ;)

That's their problem, not yours!! Well done for not caving in to peer-group pressure!! Keep it up!! :D

Sounds like you're doing a "Tony Blair" to me!! :P

I don't know what else to say man. He wore the t-shirt, which tells me he was talking about HIS BAND.

Who da hell else would he have been referring to!!

Nettie, I'm so jealous of you.. Isn't it awesome to be shown on such a huge pic in the NME? I mean, you're one of the few in the first row who can be recognized on the photo.. Especially because you're the only one with a camera ;)
