Reilly
Where's Mark? Well this year is looking like a pretty bad tournament, to be honest. Heat is really ruining things too.

Reilly
Yeah Bonnie, I think the heat is killing the players. Every match has been quite one sided. I saw a good one last night but thats because it was two guy's from scandanavian (Cold) countries and they were equal in strength when it came to weather. They played good though. support Maria Sharapova  thanks :wacky: I kinda am. I was supporting Jelena Dokic to get back in the top 200 (Shes MEANT to be a top 20, I think) but she got knocked out in the first round after giving up in the third set. It was really sad for her. So now I'm going for Hingis mainly, but I think Sharapova will definately be at the semi's or final, possibly win it.
Ondes Martenot
in the last time i don't watch tennis as often as i used to because of Federer's domination  only when russian girls play (especially Masha) in my opinion Dokic never was a good player so she's at the right spot,Hingis is doing very very well. after a very long break it's amazing how is she dominating, but it would be a big surprise if she'll win the Open
Reilly
Man, no you did not. You think my Jele is worthy of being ranked 350+ in the world?! She's in a very bad place in her life (It seems like everytime I read an update she is either injured or in a fight with her father or coach- she just lost ANOTHER one) but despite this she went up against #132 Razzano, hit a ridiculously horrible 72 unforced errors, yet she still almost won. The girl is an incredible talent, she's a former world number 4, if she had have stepped up to the big Grand Slam stages then everyone would've known it. She definately has a poor emotional state, generally, though. Yes Hingis is doing amazingly.

Reilly
Tommy Haas vs Federer! ANYONE WATCHING THIS?! This is amazing. Haas was down and out, the commentators were saying things like "Well he's surely lost this one now" at being 2 sets down and doing horrible halfway through the 3rd set. Somehow he completely reversed the 3rd, and won it! Now they are on the 4th set and Haas is leading after just having won a break! Its amazing. Larry
This match is amazing! Tommy Haas is so great. Wow, 2 Germans in the next round would be so fantastic. :) The commentator is also screaming when Haas made points. ^^
Reilly
Haha obviously I wasnt watching German commentary, but the English commentators were making noises unknown to man! It was just TOO exciting. Well, Haas didn't make it through, and I didnt think he would but still, he was in there right until the final hurdle. Fantastic match. ultracold
support Maria Sharapova thanks HAHA!before i saw this, i thought Russians are questioning her patriotism! maybe what i thought aint truth, but i do know there's rift between her and other female Russian players. anyway, she's pretty, but not the prettiest; she plays well, but not the best. burningmonk
I gave up watching the Haas-Federer game after the 2nd set cause I thought it was going to be boring. Typical
ultracold
if my meory doesnt fail me, i think Haas once ranked as high as No.2. Germany has several very outstanding tennis player, such as Becker andGraf. BTW, i'm just wondering where's that guy called Schutler?(hopefully i spell his name correctly) seems he's disappeared! Larry
Rainer Schüttler was in the final of the Australian Open a few years ago. This year he played in a Double match with another German player but they lost their game in the first round. Well, I hope Kiefer will win his match against French player Sebastien Grosjean. ;)

Larry
Yeah Nicolas Kiefer reaches the Semi-Final after a great game against Grosjean. Now, he has to play against Federer. It will be very hard. Hope, it will be such a good match as Haas-Federer.
bonnie2789
anyone watch the quarters between baghdatis and ljubicic? it was interesting analysing the chanting/screaming/wailing/agony/highs of the croations and the cyprus-ians? (haha no clue) in the crowd who were cheering after every point as if it were a soccer match.
