B-sides on the Fourth Single?

Featured Replies

according to wikipedia -

"The Hardest Part" is scheduled to be the fourth single from Coldplay's 2005 album, X&Y. On 15 February 2006, Coldplay.com confirmed that "The Hardest Part" will be the fourth single. BBC Radio 1 reported that the single will be released on 3 April 2006. The official website has revealed that "The Hardest Part" will be a radio-only single.

Does this mean they won't release the single for purchase?

It's already released for purchasing:

I hope they'll put exclusive songs ... :)

They might be saving Ladder to the Sun for the fourth album it seems. Chris mentioned that they regretted leaving some of the songs they recorded during the X&Y sessions off the album, and would be releasing them in their next album. One of the songs they regretted leaving off was How You See the World, which will not be on the next one. But Ladder to the Sun very well could be, and we know that many people who have heard the studio version have told the band that it is fantastic!

They still haven't said what the b-sides are gonna be right?

THP will be a radio single only guys, there won't be any bsides.

There is however an EP (not official yet, though) that will have live songs from the Twisted Logic tour. Crapfest, but I guess it's better than nothing.

"‘The Hardest Part’ will be the next RADIO ONLY single release from X&Y"

I read that too :dead: I'm hope, though.. since some sites still have it "available" to pre-order.. but yeah, I think the official would've mentioned something by now.

It so sad:(

I have ordered that live ep from england, but i will not recieve it then :(

I'm confused.. They said it's gonna be released tomorrow, so what's the matter now? I know that the e-mail said it's gonna be a RADIO ONLY single, but why did they even set a release date then? I wanna knooow =(

^Did the email say it would be released tomorrow? I've no idea I threw mine out already.. but if it doesn't, then there won't be any release tomorrow. Debs said that the most recent info should be the one to go by.

Aw that sucks...do they give you your money back, at least?
