KFOG - Coldplay live

Hey, that's a radio station here.

I don't know how to record it though... but I'll definitely listen...

Should be 8pm Tomorrow night [PST]. That'll be 4am here in England...

Can some kindly person please tape - ta!

Nope, I think they're releasing their archives...

How to record?

1) Listen to the broadcast on the radio/stereo and tape it using a cassette recorder the old fashion way.

Alternatively

2) Connect a digital radio to your pc using the line-in 3.5mm plug (same plug size as your speakers) on the back/front of your pc. Use software that records what is being heard on your pc or the line-in. The will give you a high quality wav file in the best quality possible.

3) Listening online. Use software the records what is being heard on your pc. The quality will not be as good and depends what kbps the broadcast is being streamed online at. Anything over 128kbps is good but unlikely to be this high.

Well... one, I could obviously do but the second one...

So I have a stereo right next to my computer, and we made it so that the audio that comes from the computer can be heard through the stereo by using the "Video" function. There's also Tape, Tuner/Band, CD, etc.

So if I listen to the radio through the Tuner/Band thing and record it using the sound recorder thing on the computer... would that work? I don't think it would work 'cause I don't have a mic...

If I can't record it, then I guess... I could just listen to it and tell you guys...? Okay that's a really bad idea, but I'm so bad with technology crap.

Is there anybody else who lives in the Bay Area who could record it?

If you have a stereo/tuner next to your pc, then you just need to connect the correct cable from your stereo to your pc. Check to see if you have a line-out on your stereo/tuner. If you have the correct cable, connect this to the line-in on your pc.

When you turn on your tuner, you should hear the radio on your pc. Now you can record using your sound recorder on your pc. This will work but you will need to find where the file has been saved
