well here there's a program that every kid in the 9th grade has to do volenteer work for a whole year... most of the ppl just go help at kindergardens but I went once a week for like 2 hours to this kid that both his parents are handicapped, and i was like a big sister.

He was very violent, and neglected.... i felt so bad for him. But i didn't like going there because he was so violent he always pulled my hair and hit me, and whenever i told him to stop he would go hide and won't agree to come out. He was really messed up.... there was all sorts of shit going on with him. I wonder how he is now- it's been 3 years since then.... we did have some good times though

Uhhhhh...

I've been to Mississippi and New Orleans to help out Hurricane Katrina victims... We tore down houses, cleared out fallen trees, distributed food 'n stuff...

That's about it.

yeah we always do that too.... and i always donate money when there's a donation day with kids coming to your house and asking "would you like to donate to...."

and when there are ppl collecting donations at supermarkets we give flour and rice. :) :)

I dun donate that much. :/

I like getting out and doing stuff. :)

where we used to live a lot of people rang the bell to ask for clothes and food,so we gave our stuff directly to them instead of to a good will organization

I like getting out and doing stuff.

I did a bunch of community service back in high school, I organized and ran an easter egg hunt for little kids at a local park, and I sometimes give money to homeless people around Seattle. Our family also donates old clothes/toys/books to the goodwill. I could do much more though.

how nice of you :)

that' what people say... :smug:
