what tour would you like to /had wanted to go...me personally--AROBTTH...it seemed so humble and full of soul..if i could just bring back the time...

I would have liked to have been to one of the Parachutes concerts... more intimate, before they were selling out stadiums... the band still as "babes in the woods"... I think it would have been nice to see them like that

 

This however, should not be taken as I didn't like the two times I saw the X&Y tour last year... those were *amazing*... and I wouldn't trade them for anything... :)

AROBTTH all the way...because they actually played Daylight, Amsterdam and One I Love my three fave songs of all time. I mean I loved the shows I went to last year but some variation would have been great...

well ive only been to the Twisted Logic one so im going to go with AROBTTH

Im gutted I didnt see them in 2003. I kick myself about it so often.

 

What i'd do to see Amsterdam, One I Love, Daylight live.... :(

 

But hey, cant complain, atleast i've seen 'em twice now, and they were the 2best nights of my whole life :D

yeah..the perfect songs...the main reason lies in x&y album itself, i've already said how much x&y doesn't bring emotions comparing to arobtth so that's the main reason. :confused:

I've only been to one AROBTTH show and one TL one so far, but I much rather the Parachutes shows. The 2001 ones, in particular. Lotsa great, obscure songs like Murder, 1:36 and Idiot on the set...wish I had flown out and seen them somewhere back then!

Don't we all. But the fact is that with selling out huge arenas, the majority of attendees will be casual fans. They rare songs, b-sides or live only standards would go completely over their heads. This is why we could get more rarities on the Rush tour, since a higher concentration of ticket holders were fans who would appreciate those songs.

 

As long as they keep playing/selling out huge shows and having such a complex light show, setlist variety is going to suffer.

I have been to arobtth and x&y, I saw them on both legs of the arobtth tour and the shows were amazing!!! I voted for parachutes because it was the only tour i didnt see them on and I kick myself everyday for not going to one of the shows back in the day.

I went to arobtth and im about to go to the x&y tour, however i don't think its going to be as amazing as arobtth. On the arobtth tour i saw them at hard rock and was against the stage. my hands literally rested on the stage directly in front of Chris. The venue was so small and intimate and the show gave me goosebumps at times it was so good. Nevertheless im obviously stoked about seeing them twice in a week or so but I just don't think anything compares to such a small intimate venue. Unfortunately they won't be able to do that again.
