I came back pretty damm quick, things I saw over there was like hell on Earth. However the people were great. I will go back one day, as a volunteer, to give me something to do, as I dont belive its a place one could go on Holiday.

Oh.....have a good time there Daryl.......and say hello to the erm........which anmials live there?Elephants?

Yeah...ok...elephants!

Er,mmm...you already have been there.....?Ok...then I hope you said hello to the elephants.....

No I never seen any elephants... I only stayed for 28 hours... then I went back home.. it cost me loads.... life is really really bad over there.

I feard my life, hey Julia all those videos, and news reports may have watched can not even come close for what its like.

In saying all of that I want to go back there one day, as I would want to help... in the very short time I was there I met some amazing people from the US, Eu and other parts of the world doing volunteer work. Its not a place you can take a Holiday and its shocking to see the living standards of people. I have never seen anything like it

Oh god.....that sounds bad.....what was so bad there? The living conditions of the people?

  • Author

yes terrible.. some people live nice, but a huge number of people live bad.

The work for less than 20 pence a day thats around 30 cents if u use the Euro... and sometimes dont even get paid....

The people live bad, but are very nice, I felt awful for going... and still do, but I have promised myself I will return one day, but this time to help

Oh............well........I can imagine that it is worse then shown on TV or in newspapers...

we all know that there are bad conditions....but I can imagine if you see it live it is awful.......and hurts you feelings...
