POTTY Pete Doherty, 27, spent several hours holed up with his band in a deserted West London underpass filming the video to their new single The Blinding.

 

 

And he even hired punk film-maker Julien Temple - the man behind Sex Pistols film The Filth And The Fury - to direct the shoot.

Wearing a vintage bomber jacket and skinny jeans, recovering junkie Pete looked a picture of health (makes a change!)

But during a break in filming, it didn't take the scruffpot long to find a local boozer, where he tucked into a massive plate of pie and chips.

While his bandmates knocked back Guinness and whisky, Pete stuck to - wait for it - pints of water and Coke (the legal sort, of course).

But he still managed to worry Temple when he disappeared off to the gents.

 

It took a couple of burly security men to reassure everyone that Pete was not getting up to his old tricks.

 

Relief all around then...

Wow.

Haha, no that makes total sense to me. I'm not a big fan of long long straight, middle parted hair. Like either put it to one side or the other, layer it or maybe bangs or chop it off.......

Well, if you look at the photos from the videoshoot I'd guess it's 'The blinding'.. The whole concept that Drew talked about, with tape over Peter's eye is there...

No idea about that, but I know a couple of people that own that anniversary number so I can ask them if you don't want to buy it before knowing. Is a new number out already? Cause it doesn't look like a new one is out yet according to their site :thinking:

Due to the intrusive nature of certain elements of the English media Babyshambles are unable to perform tonight.

 

 

Babyshambles look forward to playing Mannheim at a rescheduled show on Thursday and the rest of their Germany tour from tomorrow in the fine city of Cologne
