Girls I need to listen to more songs, what should I move on to next? I've decided that I like the libertines selftitled more than up the bracket, right now is the one that stuck with me, I can't get 'music when the lights go out' out of my head, lol.

Yeti is something that you can always listen to, very easy music to get into but I'd advise you to (while you do that) maybe start with DPT cause they're quite similar to The Libertines and then go onto Babyshambles, start with songs like Babyshambles, Do you know me?, Gang of gin, Killamangiro and Fuck forever cause those are also more libbyish than the album and EP. Although the EP is probably one of the best things ever made musicvise imo ;)

That's definately awesome (and interesting!) Wendy! I reaaaally love Up The Bracket. Mostly because I was INSANELY into Arctic Monkeys when I got into the Libs. SO that really rough and kind of violent sound appealed to me the most. But self titled is beautiful :nice:

 

 

Well, Tea's got tons of songs linked in her sig that I'm sure she'll put. I'd say 'You're MY Waterloo' since it was one of the first songs of theirs I listened to and reaaaaaaaaally loved. It's lovely. Ehmmmmm.... and the bsides are all brilliant....? haha I dunno!

Ooh btw......im thinking of getting another lyric tattoo - i'm considering (on my wrist) the word 'Faith' in quite fine, but fancy italic writing with a tiny little music note one side and heart the other, to represent "faith in love and music"

I'm gonna design it soon so i'll post it when it's done.

My sort of thoughts behind it were that it's quite a significant lyric for me because I don't have 'faith' as it were in anything holy, or any religion....but I do have faith in so much else in this crazy world....like love and music! :) So it sorta symbolises that. If you get me!? I dunno...

tattoo's makes a person look a lot more personal or something in my mind at least.. Just with quotes and drawings and songs and symbols and yeah, it kinda makes you stand out in a not desperate way that a lot of times chlotes make it look like. If that makes sense :uhoh:

Well, Angelina's got the tat of the tiger on her back (SO beautiful, yes!) and then on her shoulder blade "KNOW YOUR RIGHTS" which I just think is beautiful. I loved it a lot when I saw it (seriously, I love her ok stopping now LMFAO) and wanted to take it to the next, hardcore level. haha.

 

I really love the Declaration of Human Rights. I got the idea from U2, who played the first six articles over the PA at their shows before 'One'. Always so powerful.
