Hello!! :D I've been listening to babyshambles and DPT all day. hahaha, I'm really excited when I get to listen to new music! I think that right now I'm leaning a little more to Babyshambles that DPT. Not that DPT aren't good, I really like them( fave songs right now are: deadwood, your fucking love it and wondering!). but there's something about babyshambles that I looove! I think its Pete:lol: I'm crap at discribing music, sorry, lol. Their music makes me feel good, and I totally need it at the moment. I've been fealing pretty down lately, school is starting and stupid boys, but anyways, now I want to see them live, do they do any dates in southern california?/ I sure hope so.

 

Oh, and a question, who sings with Carl in DPT, is it Didz?

I myself really love DPT with such a passion, but lately I'm just listening to tons of 'Shambles cuz of all the great reviews! Such a newfound respect and admiration :nice: I think at this point I'm just really equal with them! haha, but that makes sense to me! And aw no, Shambles aren't doing any US dates, infact they've never been over here... I'm hoping that changes with the second album, though! And I'll be causing such a ruckus when it happens that you'll know immediately if they're comin'! :laugh4:

 

 

Didz sings the intro to 'Enemy' and 'You Fucking Love It'. He and Stanthony share backing vocals, basically where ever you hear them! Sadly, Mr. Gary doesn't seem to do much singing :laugh4: aww, I wanna hear him though! Anthony does sing lead on one song, 'Chinese Dogs', which is a bside or demo, can't remember...

2 or 3 years ago I probably would have said I'd be dead before I listen to any of this "bullshit new music". cuz my definition of "new music" was shit I heard on the radio, that there was nothing happening in the world and music died with John Lennon...

For me, a few years ago I wasn't really into music. I listen to coldplay and U2 but I wasn't really into it. you know what I mean? But since the begining of last year or the end of 2004 I just don't know what happened, hahaha, suddently music became a large part of my life, and I started listening to new bands, and building a different opinion on music.

I was always the girl that was freakily obsessed with music since I can remember :laugh4: Me and one of my friends would always burn cds for each other of new bands or whatever, and that way I got to know most of the music I listen to nowadays! Actually, it was him that gave me the copies of both Libs albums! But yeah, it keeps getting worse with time :lol:

That made sense to me, Wendy! haha, it seems like I'm like your friend, Andy! ;) I'm the one who recommends everything to everyone who's around me physically, not just on the internet haha. I mean music has always been the biggest part of my life, just in different ways. First it was classical through piano and trumpet playing, then classic rock with bands like Zeppelin and the Who and all that, then more modern with Coldplay and U2, who I still love, but then it's like... I realized this whole "alt" world that I was missing. So glad I'm not anymore! Now music literally is part of my life, it's what I want to do forever ;)

It definitely got worse for me, and It hink it still is!

 

Those times were quite great, in school. We were literally exchanging every single morning the second we went into our classroom, aaa the good old days :nice: Funny thing is, both our lives are still based a lot around music, but he's listening to completely different music, all national stuff etc. :laugh4: And we're not even that close friends anymore :( Well, we are, but more of the silent kind, when you barely talk anymore but when you meet you know exactly what the other person is thinking?
