Just sitting listening to Coldplay (as you do) and was wondering, what's the most under-rated song, in your opinion, that they have? I thought it'll be pretty cool to see what people think. There's a lot of songs, and a lot of different ways they can be interpreted. Maybe you can't even choose one! Therefore, I suggest we do them by album (most under-rated remember) and b-sides/unreleased. I'll start:

A Rush Of Blood To The Head - Amsterdam (My personal favourite Coldplay song ever, btw)

also for xy id have to say the title track xy. lyrics are simple but w/ music it sounds superb

Parachutes- High Speed. No one ever really talks about this song. I love it

 

A rush of blood to the head- This is hard because I dont think that any of the songs are underrated. Maybe Daylight?A whisper cant be underrated because its just not a good song IMO.

 

X&Y- X&Y. I love this song. Its so spacey and beautiful. I loved that they added it to the tour. Also, A message. This song doesnt get the justice it deserves. It is my favorite song on X&Y. The end is just epic.

 

B-sides-Such a Rush. A really good song that builds up to an explosive end, which I love.

Two songs for different reasons:

 

Definately See You Soon, just beacuse seeing Chris play it at Glasto '02 with just him and a guitar to 70,000 or so people in that field was breathtaking.

 

And also Warning Sign, beacuse the new version of it that they played in this last tour is such a brilliant improvement on the already fantastic original.
