I still love REM. They were the first band I truely loved in school, a long, long, long :rolleyes: time ago

 

Favourite songs are

 

Drive, Everybody hurts, Stand, Shiny Happy People, Daysleeper, At My most Beautiful, Find the River, Nightswimming, What's the freq, Kenneth?, Superman, .................................................................yada, yada, yada. ;) :D

Oh yes... REM are one of the best rock bands in the world... My dad got all albums since "Out of Time"... I personally love the "Reveal" Album... it's a great summer record... Yeah :)

I saw the band last year live in Berlin and I must say... yes... they are a fantastic live band :)

 

My favourites are "Daysleeper", "At my most beautiful", "Electrolite", "E-bow the letter", "Man on the moon", "I'll take the rain", "Drive", "One I love", "It's the end of the world"... lots of good songs :)

Yeah, they're a classic band, talented!!

It starts like "We would circle and we would..." it sounds kinds creepy, but its really cool, it sounds like an army rally.

i've always really liked REM but only got listening to them seriously when i bought their Greatest Hits...........they're excellent! and they look pretty good live too :D

I like REM's early work. But the songs they bring out these days are sooo boring, i think Bad day for example is just total crap. Though I think Losing My Religion is a classic.... lovely song!!
