Wow you got the Wake Up Bomb and These Days! Must have been a great night!

What did you think of the newest album, Around the Sun?

i like it. it sounds really cool. my favs are electron blue and aftermath. and yours?

I love R.E.M!!

I had Imatation Of Life on my head for about a fortnight...

My favs are The Outsiders and Final Straw. Thanks for the vids, I'll take a look at them when i get the chance.

ARe you a member of the fanclub 'Brandnew_Boy' by any chance, or a member of the Murmurs site?

no i´m not a member in any R.E.M. forum. but i think the murmur forum is really cool. because you can look at all setlists or donwload some torrents. very cool site.

Yea, i love the bit were he sings.....'I Told You Forever, I Love You........'.

Ye i'm in that forum anyway, I'm Final Straw! Ya should join it!

The fanclub members got a dvd of the Dresden gig with two songs, very cool. The Great Beyond and Turn You Inside Out! I love the way at the end of The Great Beyond he went bazurk spinning around!

Saw them live in ipswich this year, the day after the london bombings...they opened with everybody hurts. So moving.

Also got so central rain :)

A very very good band live, really puts on a great show and gives you value for your money, got over 2 hours of REM, and two opening acts. One of my fave cocnerts i've ever been too, certainly my fave stadium gig

REM is the best band in the world, by far! I don't think they've ever released anything I don't like.

Does anyone here have their album "New Adventures In Hi-Fi"? That's the best album ever made, no doubt. ;)

Now there's someone talking my language!!!!! Ye i have all their albums and NAIHF is my favourite! I'm guessing E-Bow the Letter is your fav song by the looks of it too!!!!!

Yeah, it's absolutely one of my favourites on NAIHF, but my all time REM favourite is "It's The End Of The World..." I don't think I'll ever get tired of that song!

I wonder if REM is going to release a album this year, I really hope so. And this time I'm sure they will make a ROCK album again! :) It's been a while since they did that.

Ye i still love that too. Are you a member of murmurs?

No, I'm not. I have an account on myrem.com, but I'm not really posting there anymore.

REM is really great !!!!

I saw them this summer at Rock Werchter

Great setlist! I'd love to see them playing World Leader Pretend if I had the chance to see them in future!

Ye, i saw them play World Leader Pretend this year too, as a dedication to Aung Sun Su Chi, and it was brilliant. Sent such a shiver down my spine, i couldn't believe they played it!

I've just watched "Perfect Square"' date=' it's awesome[/quote']

Yeah, it's great! I have heard rumours about a live-DVD from the Around The Sun-tour, does anyone know if something like that has been released? Or at least are going to be?

Oh, that'd be awesom! I enjoyed the tour-movie very much, but I guess I'd enjoy a DVD of the last tour even more :D

I know, would be great if they included something from their 2 shows in Norway where I was!

The main rumour is that the dvd is gonna be of the two Irish gigs in February. I kinda don't know if i'm glad at that cause i'd prob be on it(being near the front) and i don't want to be!!!

Perfect Square was brilliant! Country Feedback and So Fast So Numb sounded brilliant!

do they still play "radio free europe"?
