mburn
i made a thread about them once- brmc are amazing, saw them live once at reading festival which was awsome, which album do u think is better? new or old one
The[aussie]Scientist
I havent actually got the new album but I have listened to a lot of it... mmm thats a hard one. I think the production is better on the newie, but I am still drawn to my favs from the old album - Love Burns, WHTMR&R, Head Up High. They played Salvation as the last song (before they went on jamming in flying for about 10 minutes afterwards!!) and that was brilliant, was much more intense live. Im going to buy the new album next week so I'll give it a good five or so listens all the way through b4 I make a final judgement... I find with BRMC it took me a while to 'get' their stuff but I always ended up loved it after a couple of listens. What do you reckon yourself? mburn
hmm, fresh music is always better at first although i think brmc in general is better than take thme on on your own because it has more meaning but they are both amazing so dont take my opinion to far

Texasluvsjonny
Got this message from the BRMC today. New album and tour coming soon. Hello, this is Robert from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. It's been a long time since I've written to everyone... But I think we have something well worth mentioning. We've just finished work on our 4th album. We're very proud of it and it took a lot of blood sweat and cheers to get it to this point. As far as the mysterious album title goes... Jago thought of calling the album 'BABY 81' a little while back. It comes from a story during the Tsunami about a lost child. It was the 81st baby admitted to this hospital in Kalmunai and nine mothers came forward to claim the child as their own. There’s so many things to talk about, but I’ll try to keep this short. I know we’ve kept the direction and sound a bit of a secret on this album, but it’s basically what we do best; three guys playing rock’n’roll better than any other band can. It’s our first album with Nick behind the drums since 2003 and it’s our life blood poured into this screaming mangled creation. It’s dirty and it’s beautiful, but the most important thing is that it’s a part of all three of us again. The official album release date is May 1st 2007 in the states (and we should have the UK and Europe release info next week). I know it might seem like a long time but there will be lots of radio play and online exclusives. The good news is that we will be doing widespread touring throughout 2007 and dates will be posted very very soon. There are lots of things being talked about so I can’t go into everything just yet. "Baby 81" will be released on May 1, 2007 through RCA. The track listing: 1. Took Out a Loan 2. Berlin 3. Weapon of Choice 4. Window 5. Cold Wind 6. Not What You Wanted 7. 666 Conducer 8. All You Do Is Talk 9. Lien on Your Dreams 10. Need Some Air 11. Killing the Light 12. American X 13. Am I Only There’s a lot more that needs to be said, but there’s even more that needs be done. Besides the fact that I need to get some sleep... I hope you’re all well and I’ll see you on the other side. Take care Robert
ég-elska-Thom
I'm so looking forward to it. Every album by them is great and so was the last EP. Plus, I love the fact that they got a song called Berlin on it.

Italian Plastic
Yeah, the show is at a lisenced bar so minors (me) can't get it.
Darlene_Ihnfsa
auch, sorry :( you can't go with an adult? here at times if you go with an adult (preferably your parents or a sibiling) you can.
Italian Plastic
Yeah, for local shows I can, but for some reason when international acts play here I can't  It sucks...
