As I heard it's a tradition on the faroes. And it's a way of living. It looks horrible, but as I'm told it's a big thing there. :|

Right, you are. But I do not like it either. To me it looks like a BIG HORROR SHOW.

^ It does, It's not like I support it. My best friend is Faroese, so I have heard a bit about it. I just told what I been told.

When I see things like this I just wanna kill all those people

The problem with them is that they don't understand what they're doing... Because they've always done it.

So, we may say it's not even their fault. People often justify their actions with the idea of *keeping the tradition going*... But traditions aren't always a good thing, and this is really hard to understand, for so many. Breaking the tradition, on the contrary, usually sounds like the worst of sins. But in some cases, like this, it's the opposite.

It may have been some kind of a justifiable act in a remote past, when they needed their meat as food because they couldn't find much else... But now we're in 2012! And you can find everything in the market near your house! I mean...

Someone should make them understand, somehow...

From what I've read it's much more a traditional thing than a way of living; It's a sort of party and they give the children a day off school so they can "enjoy the show".

If i am not wrong, it is just so much blood that it turns the water red. That is why you do not see the rocks stained......

I saw this photo such a long time ago, and i am still disgusted by it. big time.
