What a shame that you can't see the World Trade Center there. :( I still know exactly what I've done on 9/11 in 2001.

Did anyone of you watch POCT2? Is it a good film? Better than the first one? Maybe this weekend I will watch it in a cineman.

What's "POCT2"?? Is it better than POTC2??:P

Starbucks has blamed a rise in the popularity of frozen drinks for disappointing July sales figures.

The firm said July sales missed targets because in the hot weather more chilled drinks, such as Frappuccinos, were ordered which take longer to prepare.

As a result, its sales in stores open more than a year rose by just 4% during the month, below the 6% expected by Wall Street and last year's 7% growth.

The news saw Starbuck's shares fall 9% in after-hours trading on Wednesday.

Starbuck's chief executive Jim Donald said the company was working to solve the problem of the extra time it takes to make frozen drinks compared with standard hot coffees by bringing in extra staff during peak hours.

The firm's chief financial officer added that while it was an issue, "we're working on it, and we're going to get it solved".

For the 13 weeks to 2 July, Starbucks saw its net profits rise 16% to $145m (£77m) from $126m a year earlier. Revenue increased to $1.96bn, up from $1.6bn.

Comments, Steph?

Um was that from the news section?

:P I'm sure you know that I meant POTC2. In Germany the fim has got another title that's why I was a bit confused. Here it's called "Fluch der Karibik 2". ;)

All I can say is that what he says is true, they are working on it. When it's really mega busy in our store we now get an extra member of staff in just to make frappuccinos.

Anyways...our store has been making way above it's weekly targets over this summer so far, so yeah, we rule :P  hehe.

Welcome back Zore! It seems like you were gone for so long! How are you?

So to quote Pink floyd:

Just nod if you can hear me.

Is there anyone at home?"

Where are you all? :D

Ah a bit German... :nice:

I'm ok... but I got a cold today... in summer!!! :dozey: It's so cold here. I feel like we already have autumn and I hate it.

How are you? When are you flying to New York? :) Wasn't it today?

Ah Steph, nice to see you! :)

Already excited about your "new" life which will start in a few weeks? :nice:

Yeah! Very excited!!!

My dad keeps laughing at me; my main worry about moving out is how quickly I can get my wireless internet connected!

And im worried that I wont live with nice people :\

What have you been up to lately? :)

How are you? When are you flying to New York? :) Wasn't it today?

Thurs! :nice:

Im scaaaaaaaaaaared too! :( (uni)

Are you still thinking of London Lars or not?

Ah I think you don't have to be worried! :) When I look to your pictures and see your smile I'm so quite sure that you'll meet some new friends soon. ;) You seem to be person who enjoys every second in your life.

Hm, my day was boring! I had to work (which is still stressy), I got a cold because of this terrible weather and that's why I begin to get depressions. It's always the same every year. When I have the feeling that summer is over and days are getting shorter I got it. Last year it was really terrible, but I think my life was responsible for it, because it changed so fast in that time.

It's also sure that I will not going to visit London this month. :( I'm so sad about it, but the flights were suddenly so expensive. Another reason is that no one would accompany me and I don't like travelling alone. So I think about doing day trips to Amsterdam, Hannover and Cologne but I'm not quite sure. It would be great to fly to London a few weeks before Christmas. I did it last year and enjoyed it.

What have you done today?

Ah Kara, I thought it was today! :D Why are you scared? Don't you like sitting in a plane?

Aww that's so sweet of you to say that Lars. :nice: And you are a good judge of character! I do love every second of life :D

Shame about you getting a cold! :( I always get sick in the summer, with bad hayfever, so im actually glad that Autumn will soon be on it's way!

And sorry to hear about the expensive flights! :\ I wonder why they went up in price! :( But if you come in the winter give me a shout!

I didn't do much today...just worked 7am-2.30, then came home and did a whole bunch of nothing. Wrote a list of stuff I still have to buy for uni....scary! But that's about it.
