October 14, 200619 yr Oh yeah, of course...he will go next year....silly me. God...I cannot believe he's been prime minister for 10 years now! We're not going tomorrow...because my flatmates friend cant give us a lift in his car, he might be able to next week. It's just that the theme park is awkward to get to if you're not going by car. Driving into London? Its too confusing and busy and you have to pay congestion charge! My family/friends usually park in a town at the end of the underground Northern line, called Morden and get into London that way. Oh yeah and the M25 is hell at the best of times!! Im really looking forward to meeting Ophelie, I think we are gonna go ahead with Tuesday...we dont know what we're gonna do yet, but me Steph and Opehlie can meet anyway!
October 14, 200619 yr Hehe, so you have the same kind of feeling to Blair like me to Merkel? :P Oh, I know the situation. Here, the next theme park is also difficult to reach by using a train, so driving with a car is nearly the only possibility. Last month a new ski-hall has opened in a town not far away from Bremen. My friends and I want to ski there in winter, so we don't have to drive to the Harz or the Alps. :) It's cheaper! The last time I was skiing was in 2004 when I did a journey to Austria, together with my skiing-course at school and I would really like to do it again as soon as possible. Oh, I forgot the congestion charge... :( Is there a good train line from High Wycombe to Central London? Haha, I have heard that the M25 is the way to hell. :P Two years ago we stood nearly 2 hours on it because of a traffic-jam. Hope you'll not forget a digi-cam next Tuesday.
October 14, 200619 yr I will never understand why there was so much of concentrate hate on Erikson in England. Because he was "foreign" and because he made some terrible player, squad (e.g. Walcott) and tactical decisions. When I heard of the story with the wrong sheik (was it "The Sun"?!) I knew that your team wouldn't play well during World Cup. Your new coach is as bad as Erikson in my opinion. It was an embarrassing performance last Wednesday. It's far too early to judge the new coach. Eriksson was given five years (unbelievably). The performance against Croatia wasn't good, but Croatia are a good team and have never lost a competitive "home" match. England could never have expected to win there. The Macedonia result was a more disappointing one. Yeah' date=' with the aid of the referee. ;) :P[/quote'] No - more likely in spite of him. The sending off of your player in the first half was the correct decision (the England player would have been through on goal), your penalty was never one (and your player missed anyway), and then you were destroyed by supersub Walcott.;)
October 14, 200619 yr I dont hate everything Tony Blair has done....but the sucking up to America and going to war in Iraq were terrible stupid things for our country to do. :( Cool!! A snow slope...does it have real snow inside? Im jealous of my family, theyre going skiing to the Alps in February without me (as Im at uni) :bigcry: Do you do skiing or snowboarding? Yeah, no doubt I will be taking my camera! :D

Couldn't you organise your own trip?? There are usually some good student deals around.

The sending off of your player in the first half was the correct decision (the England player would have been through on goal)' date=' your penalty was never one (and your player missed anyway), and then you were destroyed by supersub Walcott.;)[/quote'] Well honestly I only watched the first 10 minutes (don't want to support a TV-channel which is showing ads every 2 minutes during football matches), but later I read in the newspapers that the referee was a dork. :P I know skiing in a hall is completely different but it's cheaper, although it's not real snow. ;) Hey Reg! I dont hate everything Tony Blair has done....but the sucking up to America and going to war in Iraq were terrible stupid things for our country to do. :( Cool!! A snow slope...does it have real snow inside? Im jealous of my family, theyre going skiing to the Alps in February without me (as Im at uni) :bigcry: Do you do skiing or snowboarding? Yeah, no doubt I will be taking my camera! :D Hm, you're right! I'm so proud that my country didn't invade in Iraq. But the economy in your country is great. You don't have problems like a high unemployment rate and stuff like that. Really? That's nasty... :P Where exactly are they going to ski? I did skiing and snowboarding but I prefer the first one. The new ski's are also smaller and better to use. I remember that we had a great snow ball fight at a bus station in Axams (Austria) against Dutch people. They were outnumbered and our teachers also helped us to beat the Dutchman. :D
October 14, 200619 yr When I was 7 or 8 i went to an indoor snow place. It was so cool back then...we don't get any snow where I live so it was the best thing ever! :nice:

I don't see the point. Hm' date=' you're right! I'm so proud that my country didn't invade in Iraq. But the economy in your country is great. True. Carvers are fab.;)
October 14, 200619 yr LOL@ the snowball fight! Rivalry between countries :laugh4: ! I hate it when people shove snowballs down your collar...my friend did that... lol! Cant wait for it to snow....:) even though people freak out about it here with their cars and stuff, lol. I cant remember where my family are going, I know its in France though.
October 14, 200619 yr One day we had an exchange student in our school who came from Perth, Australia and he cried when he saw snow for the first time in his life. Mark, does Great Britain have a big problem with immigrants? Haha Kara, I know what you mean. We call it "to lather" lol. It's really nasty. Do you often have snow in Great Britain in winter? I've never been in the French Alps. :(
October 14, 200619 yr We had a lot of snow last Winter! It seems to have been very very wet in that last month...well in Wycombe anyway. Lather?! Do you mean being competetive against other countries?? haha! That just makes me think of soap. I've been to the French Alps a lot in my life...my parents love it there, in the winter and the summer. Its beautiful!! The bulidings are ugly though in the summer.

October 14, 200619 yr Hm, yes I mean "to lather". Do you use this word when you're in a shower and use the soap? We use the German word of it for the same thing and also when you put snow in someone's collar. :D Oh Mark, I didn't know it. :( So you often spent some time in France Kara. Can you speak French actually? :)
October 14, 200619 yr Aha, now I get you about the snow and collar thing...lol. I cannot really speak French very well...can only speak a little...I am best at reading French. I wish I could be fluent!

October 14, 200619 yr No, I dont think I would really. Well....maybe very simple things!!!! I cannot decide whether to go and see Maximo Park again!!!!! Im become infatuated with them, lol!!!!!!
October 14, 200619 yr Do they have more concerts in UK? :) I would really like to see them again. Hehe, maybe you'll do the same thing with Maximo Park like Steph with Dirty Pretty Things. :P My next concert is Wednesday! Can't wait and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm sorry, I'm off now. Maybe we'll see us later again. Bye! :)
October 14, 200619 yr well, theyre not headlining, but a band called New Order, next Friday, have a gig which Maximo are supporting them on. I dont know whether to pay the money to just see Maximo! Its so hard :( Hope that your concert is a good'un! See you later! bye!
October 14, 200619 yr Hm, and you don't listen to songs of New Order, right? That's a difficult question. If the tickets weren't too expensive, I would go and see Maximo Park again. ;) I also hope it will be good. My tickets arrived today. Bye! :)
October 14, 200619 yr Thereeeeeeeese! How fucking weird is this, you were in my dream lastnight :laugh4:....I had a dream that I was at Glastonbury and you and Danielle were there and DPT's played, and we had the best time, it was so cool!!!! :stunned: How weird is that!?!?! How is everyone today??? :) I'm back home, it feels so strange!
