Yep.

 

I have changed locations where I do my main job, from the quietness of ludgershall to the busy hub of the main Tidworth Camp, well I say hub, as in fact I'm based about a mile away from the main gate, right in the south western corner.

 

Replacing somebody who left a couple weeks ago, who had an unique filing system, and didn't bother in closing January's account down, so I have to attempt to get to the bottom of the pile of paperwork, process that paperwork before attempting to close Januarys and February's accounts off, in 2 units (Sgt.s Mess and Officers), all before the end of next week.

 

The main advantage of being on the main camp is that there is another accountant 'next-door' to me to counter-sign my cheques, the main disadvantages is that it takes a good 10 minutes to cover that mile and a bit to get out of camp, traveling at 15 mph, so I have to bring my own lunch.

I wish it was just a story, but I have been dropped in at the deep-end, with trying to get my head around the new places different rules on how to do things.

It's raining outside and water is coming in at the top of my window and running down the wall. FUCK!

^ baaad!....it's been rainig all day here as well...but I don't mind I had to stay in an study chemistry anyway:(

I'm 260 miles from Dallas, so no. It snows in Dallas, it doesn't snow in Houston. :(

Wow, Texas really is big,lol. THat's too bad. When I heard it snowed in TX, you were the first person I thought of since you'd said before that you wished it would snow.

I'm going to NYC next month, so maybe I'll get to see some snow there. :D

me too! i'm just finishing my homework and i've got to go to my uncle's house tonight. and this is the only free time i have and i decided to come here :D
