Have you ever done cheats while doing an exam?!

Featured Replies

I'm sure it must exist another thread that talks about this issue... but anyway, I think it's a funny topic to talk about, so... have you ever done cheats or have you ever being tempted to do them while doing an exam or in some homework (like change results, or copying)? Have you dared to do it or you were too afraid that your nervousness would give you away?

I presume that everyone here has done them and has some interesting anecdotes to tell us or... could explain us some methods for improving our way of cheating, or cribs and so on... :laugh4: :laugh4:

lol yea all the time but nobody has been smart enough to catch on yet....mwahahahahaha

I always cheat, it's how I'm passing Chem this year. My entire spanish class blatantly copies exams, have cheat sheets, etc. The teacher never says anything.

I do what I have to do to get by, and to hell with morals!

it's an interesting topic.

In Poland it is normal, everyone is cheating... Me to, very often. I've heard that in the US people don't cheat during exams. I dont know why :P

how is it in other countries?

lol, Im surprised! I dont think many people in my school cheated with exams, I cant really remember ever cheating either, maybe writing an equation or something on a pencil but thats about it, lol. I think Englands quite strict...mmm..dunno though

Well, here in the States they make it EXTREMELY difficult to cheat on the SATs. It's pointless to try and do so, and I never would think of it. They're too important to fuck around with. But little in class tests, like spanish vocab quizzes, or chemistry exams where you're "supposed" to have memorized the electron dot notations for certain things, well....... little cheat sheets are niiiice things. Gets me a 50 instead of a 30!

We were forced to cheat in our chemistry examns :nice: Our teacher usually went out during the examns to have a chat with his workmates or he sat next to someone and talked about the problems he/she had with some exercises... :smug2:

aaah... he was such a nice teacher :wideeyed:

Oh right, I see for unimportant little exams, yeh Im sure people cheated then in my classes sometimes lol!

but for GCSE's and A levels I dont think so. except this one girl in my old class who got caught cheating if I recall correctly haha.

I have cheated a few times too...like copyed things from my friends and written down the answers in my hand, it works very well acctually

Hmmmmmm, I've cheated some times, I must say...But I've never really copied the other's answear I've just concluded some points... :P

I always panic before tests and on occasion have wrote simple 'trigger words' on my hand to help jog my memory. But then, during the test, I'm usually too afraid to look at them, thinking that the prof will catch me. :( I guess I'm lucky to have the most amazing short term memory ever....woohoo last minute cramming!!

same :D its just that .... chem sucks !!! :P

During my Computer Science exam, we have to do the 1st part written and the second part on the computer. We had to create two visual basic applications and well, think about it...the computer. google . right in front of you. Obviously you put two and two together and google the definitions it asks on the exam! Also, the applications are so complex and takes hours to figure out and our teacher gave us practice questions before (i knew a couple of them had to be on the exam) so i did them the night before and sent to my email. Time exam comes, i click the download button and I'm done.

Oh yeah and if you don't have a computer based class with google available, if you can read your own small and abbreviated print, you can write some answers on a paper and stick it to the bottom of your sharpener. That way, it won't smudge off your hand, or in my case, the teachers actually look at your hands and arms!

:P:sneaky:

I'm offender by the question

OF COURSE I CHEAT!

i'm the queen of cheating ... :D hr hr

i cheat in almost every exam ... :D we usually write the answer in our writing pad so i always write down the most important facts the night before so that i can calk the answers :)

and in maths i write all the formulas on my pocket calculater ...

mhh ... and last month we had an english exam and my friend is not taht good at english ... so she gave me her sheet in th emiddle o f the exam and i corrected her mistakes (i'm too nice ... ) =)

I cheat all the time. It is just the most normal thing in my country. It was just today that i cheated 2 times. we had two exams today. On the second , which was German, it was just not normal... everyone was doing whatever he wanted. One of my classmates even went smoking. haha it was FUNNY :D

That's actually a normal day in my school :uneasy:

why not cheating? it's impossible to know everything ... isn't it?

of course, it's impossible to know everything, so, cheating is the best way for answering in the exams what you don't remember ;)

I've never really copied the other's answear I've just conclude some points...

Lívia... what a subtle way for saying that you've cheated!!! When I do it I include some points of their answers too and I mix it with mines (if I know a little bit the answer of the question) :P:P

ohh, I used to do this in my maths, physics or chemistry exams, as well, I think it's pretty normal and moreover, it's hard that your teachers realize that you're cheating 'cause theoretically, in this kind of exams, you need to use it, so... why not?! :D

I rarely cheat but I recognize that sometimes is really necessary to do it. This happened to me the last year, I think, when I was doing an exam of the most boring subject ever of my course (and I really wanted to pass it, 'cause I didn't wanna repeat it again). Before doing the exam, I made several appointments with my teacher for talking about my subject problems and he tried to help me... it was nice on behalf of him. :) The exam's day, he asked me: how's it going the exam?! and I said, well, well... and after that, I had a problem in front of mine and I haven't a clue for solving it so I had to make cheats; I was absolutely alert and when the mate I had in front of me turned the page, and begin to solve it, I did it... so I resolved that question by the: copy and paste method! hahaha :laugh4:

Thanks to God, I pass that horrible subject!!!!
