Random Coldplay thoughts...

Featured Replies

Hmm...I have never heard Politik on the radio. Only the singles. I hope my local station picks up Strawberry Swing soon, but at least they still play LITii every hour or so. :D (seriously, every time I turn on the station, it's playing)

It's a great station that also plays a lot of U2 and Snow Patrol, but I'll switch during a commercial or the occasional really bad song.

Lucky... my radio station plays I Gotta Feeling every hour.... :shout:

And I seriously have requested a Coldplay song every day for the past 2 weeks, even once talked to the damn DJ about Coldplay for a good two minutes (not on air, but he gave me a shout-out) and they haven't played any of my requests.

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

I saw someone wearing a blue t-shirt with OSAKA on it, well that kind of says it all :P.

@Graceberryman--YOU think your radio station is bad? Mine is even worse.

They play classic Madonna, Chris Brown, random disco songs, terrible soft rock (like Fathers Be Good to Your Daughters), Christina Aguilera, and POCKET FULL OF SUNSHINE.

My station claims to have a lot of variety, but they only play old songs and the latest songs. After that, they discard the latest songs, such as Michael Buble. :(( I LOVED Michael Buble....I never hear him anymore...And I don't hear Coldplay either...

out stations only play top 10 stuff

:( That's sad, real sad.

-sigh- They don't have a lot of cool stations where I come from.

But one time, when my family drove to the beach, we heard Viva la Vida and Just Dance everywhere on the local stations! :D I wanna move therrrrre

Haha, sun :sunny:, surf :mudkip:, beach :cool4:, and COLDPLEH :D

I was watching a French Tv game when a woman suddently said " Here is our JONNY BOY !" ( She was speaking about a man called... JONATHAN ( so Jonny's real name ! ) :o !!!!!

I was like :o.

:laugh3:

:) There's a weird, yet happy-go-lucky character in Ed, Edd n' Eddy named Jonny, who has a plank of wood named Plank for a best friend.

He kinda reminds me of Jonny Buckland 'cause he's so happy. :D

LUCKY! I had my first day of high school last week and we were only out of uniform for the first 2 days and my VLV shirt happened to be in the laundry. :( I have met no other CP fans, and the girls at my lunch table were making fun of Chris Martin. :( I got to an all-girls private school. Yay....

Yeah a lot of people:veryangry2: in my school make fun of Chris and it makes me want to hurt them badly

My 9th grade global teacher likes Coldplay:). I saw her at the Darien Lake concert while I was in line waiting to buy a t-shirt. That made me happy:D. Then the next day in school, she asked me how the concert was. And then my friend Beth, who could see the teacher's computer form her desk, told me after class that she had Coldplay as her wallpaper!:laugh3:

its the same in my school .

they all say coldplay is a gay group

Yeah same here. That's what it was like at my lunch table all year:( But me and my friend Emily, we set them straight:P

Also my uncle always says that Coldplay is gay:(, and my mom is convinced that Will is gay:\

That's cool...

in fact, I have no friends/family who are Coldplay fans... well like, hardcore, ya know? Someone I can talk about them with.

So that's why I am always here now. ;)

-sigh- A lot of people in my school think Coldplay is gay...I don't really share their music interests either since they listen to a lot of sugary pop and tasteless hiphop. Hah, it sounds like I can taste music XD

But a lot of my friends really enjoy Coldplay! One time, I showed my friend my iTunes list and she said, "OOH OOH PLAY THE SCIENTIST" :)

One time in class we had to read a story called Viva New Jersey (that's a terrible title), and my Coldplay-loving friend started singing, "I used to ruuuuuule...New Jersey!" And I played Clocks on the piano for her another time and she started dancing to it. :D

I realized CP music is really inspiring when it comes to make sudokus

Yeah this place is like my home away from home, although ironically I can only be there when I'm at my actual house.

That's exactly the same for me :)

I haven't listened to a CP song for...2 hours! :stunned:

But then... there are people who act like that they are HUGE fans of Coldplay but they only know Viva La Vida and other main songs.

I love how tons of people on here know all the B Sides and actually know things about the band.

Ah, my friend is like that (and it annoys me so f***ing much!) She doesn't have a clue about Coldplay, she just LOVES Viva la Vida cuz she always likes hits, ya know? One time, I was talking to her on facebook and I was telling her the CP I like at the moment and she's like "How about Violent Hill!"

Haha, and one time I was playing Tap Tap Coldplay and she INSISTED I let her play and because, quote, "Nobody loves Coldplay more than I do!"

I posted something about this on another thread, so forgive me if you have already read me "venting".

i got my homeroom number in the mail today... room 420.

As I said on Twitter, that's a double win!

Haha, you're so lucky.

My homeroom number is..... 122.

And all the classrooms I have classes in are: 211, 101, 217, 206, 130A

So, nothing special. :P
