  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

When I was in the car wiht my mum, on the way to uni, I was flipping stations and VLV was on. Start singing and dancing (as you do) and my mum just rolls her eyes at me.

Then in my psych lab (which sucked today) someone had found research from UCL and was asking what it stood for. I burst out with "UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON!"

Then as I was wlaking out of my lab, I passed by a girl wearing my red VLV t-shirt. Instant mega happiness.

Finally, I received a thank you note from Acer Arena for helping Coldplay set a new record at the venue.

I was in Hastings on Monday, and I was looking around in the store and whatnot. I saw this book called Postcards from No Man's Land. "Postcards from Far Away" immediately popped into my head.

for my public speaking project we had to promote a charity.

i did MAKE TRADE FAIR!

i wore my shirt, got all excited and made a fool out of myself in front of 50 peers.

but i got an a.

WOO! :D:D:D

awesome christina!!:D

i did a research paper on fair trade, and now i'm doing something with it for these tunnel books we have to make in art

oo thats great!:D I'm also into a school project and I choose to talk about the make trade fair haha:P

So I'm talking to you from my University's computer labs. The guy to my left has headphones on and its playing just loud enough that I can hear he's listening to the outro of White Shadows! :edit: And I just heard X&Y so I guess he's going through the whole album.

ooh, that sounds awesome marisa! :D:D:D

EDIT: i just noticed this pattern in coldplay's albums

do NOT ask me why i just noticed it now.

they've always had a song on their album that has the same title as the album.

hah, that's so wierd that i just noticed that. :laugh4:

^ Same with EP's, except The Blue Room.

I was driving with my father today and All summer long came to the radio :dozey: So I grab the occasion and start saying all I think about Kid Rock, who's really a w*nker, and furthermore thinks his music is better than any other ... So I told him that the guys weren't like that at all, that Chris' always self-depreciating, and my father said they seem to be more intelligent than many other artists :) So true ! And since I talked about MTF, he really likes the Band-Chris no :)

Then I saw a shop called Martin... haha random I know :D

i'm making some cookies for my sister's easter party, so i went to the store to get some supplies.

i saw these butterfly shaped sprinkles.

and i got em.

i love you coldplay!! :D:D:D

Was at the gym yesterday, and there was a guy on the treadmill in front of me wearing the black tour t-shirt.

Hot guy.

Into Coldplay.

WHY!?!?!?!?

I was at dinner tonight and I heard "In My Place" playing, but I was so confused cause I absolutely knew that it was IMP from the music... but I couldn't hear Chris singing... there was thing woman singing. But I think after a minute or whatever of intense listening that the restaurant had two different songs playing... so her vocals overtook Chris'.

Also, I ordered a drink called "Viva Diva" only because it had Viva in it.

I know I am posting twice in a row in this thread but whatever.

I'd just like to point out that I am an excellent judge of character.

Ever since Ryan Johnson came to my favorite hockey team, I've taken quite a liking to him. Just always liked him from the start, obviously very full of heart and seemed very smart. Plus, awesome smile... :P

Today I was proved right when I saw this on the team website...

:D Awesome.

I just noticed that on Match Of The Day on BBC1, when they show the league table at the end, the music playing in the background is the chorus of Life In Technicolor :D

I never actually take in any of the league positions because I'm too busy listening to the song

Lol perhaps. But the whole point of this (probably hard to tell since I didn't post the link that says what it is) is to guess what RJ's response is gonna be. So maybe he's the only big Coldplay fan.

That's a funny thought though... a bunch of macho guys listening to Coldplay. I can only imagine... that would be totally awesome.

Ahaha. But I dunno, some of them are into rap and heavy metal (blah), but other players have mentioned stuff like The Killers or U2, so I'm sure there's SOME people in that lockerroom with good taste. :P

Also another Coldplay/hockey thing. When the Toronto Maple Leafs skate onto the ice for the intro I've heard them playing Life In Technicolor and man it is so perfect for an intro song, I wish we would've done it.

Haha yeah that's so funny, all those macho guys loving Coldplay:D

It made me think about a group I hate on facebook : "Do you know how I know you're gay ? ... Because you listen to Coldplay!":veryangry2: Stupid stupid stupid ;)

my coldplay thought:

yesterday i was in the living room watching tv, on the table there were a piece of sheet and a pen,

i took them and started writing something on it,

honestly, when i was writing " coldplay" and drawing the MTF sign above coldplay, in a sudden i heard a piano, a "tututututututututu" :D

CLOCKS

i danced like a fool

It's even more stupid to say that to a girl !

Many people think that Coldplay is a music for depressive girls :veryangry2:

yeah and these many people are all fan of metal/ crazy songs ( i'm not against this kind of music, i listen to metal sometimes )

but when i told them that coldplay is the best rock band, they say " what the heck, coldplay, a ROCK band, you're wrong dear" :\
