Ohh I posted this somewhere else, but a few days ago at the place where I work they played God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, and it's like an italian restaurant and usually they play weird italian music over and over again, but I started singing the song and telling people about the concert I'm going to in summer :D

I emailed my friend yesterday to see if she wanted to come over to my house...and had a total Rainy Day spasm. I began writing all the lyrcis to the song out...and sent it to her.

She emailed me back like, "What the heck was all those random words?!"

I just emailed her back saying, "THAT'S COLDPLAY!!" and attatched four photos of the band.

My friends seem to find my obsession awkward...but I don't care!:rolleyes:

Everything's not lost is way less famous than the others :stunned:

Anyway I love when Coldplay songs are used on TV or elsewhere, especially when you don't expect it :)

a) I've really turned my friend into a Coldplay fan!! Every day she greets me with "how many more days until our Coldplay concert?!?!" (36, BY THE WAY.), and she always tells me when she listens to them, and she wants to know all about them :dance: I'm so proud!!!! :D

 

b) Today I had my backpack sitting near me, and it has a Coldplay patch on it. Some of my classmates sitting next to me saw the patch, and not realizing that it was my bag, started brutally insulting Coldplay. So I turned around, grabbed my bag, and was like "excuse me, this is mine" (I was wearing my Coldplay sweatshirt too), and said "and Coldplay is my favorite band. They're fucking incredible, they're all I listen to, I've seen them in concert 3 times and am seeing them twice more in the next 3 1/2 months." and we got in an epic argument about Coldplay.

edit: hahaha, my friend just commented on my facebook status (which is a countdown to my concerts), saying "ahhh, you're a Coldplay addict!" :lol: Soooooooo true! I just commented back "AND PROUD OF IT!!!" :P

Today I was at the Canucks game, (we won btw! Woo!)

 

And they played Lovers In Japan at the 2nd intermission. But it was like mixed with a goal horn kind of thing.

 

Oh man, it sounded fantastic. Just brilliant. I wish I had a copy of that.

 

But we usually have Where The Streets Have No Name as our intro for the playoffs, which is amazing. But this year it changed to some fucking stupid rock song. I was so disappointed.

edit: AND my sub for english let us listen to our mp3 players while we were writing an essay. it was a great Coldplay-filled 40 minutes. :D

i couldn't fall asleep last night, so i watched random shows on tv including "rock of love with bret michaels" and i thought,"man, that'd be so cool if one of the guys from coldplay had such a show" hahah.

i mean, i don't want them to go that low. heheh, but you get the point. :laugh3:

just imagine about 30 girls fighting for chrissy's love and going on dates with him.
