i wish coldplay had attended my sweet 16. though the music, (which i hand-selected myself) was mostly coldplay! i couldnt put in just any song i wanted though, because you cant dance to a whole lot of their songs (not that i wanted people to dance...but its sorta inevitable knowing my friends), and a lot just isnt party music. i had 10 coldplay songs out of 53 (i thought there was more than that...), but to this day when my friends talk about my party theyre like "oh yeah, we played cards and ate pizza and listened to coldplay. it was pretty sweet."

but if i was one of those rich spoiled bitches on MTV, i would have tried to get coldplay with everything that i am!

 

speaking of getting coldplay, my school's chapter of amnesty international (which im a member of) is trying to put together a jamnesty, a huge concert of bands to raise money for amnesty international. we're probably only going to get like local bands because we can't pay them and we dont have a whole lot of time, etc, but i think if we had a few years to plan it, it would be worth writing to bands like Coldplay and U2 and other bands that have worked with amnesty in the past. im not saying i think it would have worked, really, but i think we would have had a fighting chance, especially if we teamed up with other chapters, because those bands are on the amnesty boat.

i actually had a dream about this. Coldplay was performing on the front lawn of my school, right in front of the chapel, with a bazillion people screaming. i was right in the front.

On Tuesdays and Fridays my school has these assembles after Lunch and the whole school crowds into the Gym so they tell us about clubs and fundraisers and etc. Anyway, in my dream it was Friday and i went into the Gym as usual and Coldplay was standing right in the middle of the gym! I was like: "OMG!!!" and I can't remember what song they were singing but Chris was running up and down the stands and he ran past me and he looked at me!!!! AAH! And my friends who don't like Coldplay were all absent that day, hmmm. lol. But anyway, they started to play "Clocks" next and my mom woke me up! :angry:

oh well...

I had 'For You' stuck in my head all morning...I don't know why. Probably because I miss summer, and 'For You' reminds me of the summer..

For me, today was a "For You" day, rainy, if a little less calm.

 

And two of my professors dropped Coldplay song titles in class.

 

My Soc. professor called the process of assigning monetary value to human life (which, incidentally, is in the $300K range) "twisted logic." I immediately start hearing "Sunlight, opened up my eyes..."

 

Then we were talking about sonar in geology, and my prof. talked about the speed of sound underwater...

I was just watching Dane Cook(<3333333333) on Jimmy Kimmel live, and he was arguing that his myspace freinds were actually his freinds and he knew them, then Jimmy said no, and Dane was like I will prove it so he walked up to a female in the audience and said "This is Karen, she is single, blah blah blah and she loves Coldplay!" I rewinded it like 4355 times, my 2 fave things on earth, Dane Cook and Coldplay, he said it so cute too.

There was a problem in my Geometry homework about a line XY........yeah you know the rest! :P

Today we (we being my mum, dad and i) were on the way back home from the hospital (my auntie had a baby) and i was listening to X&Y on my discman (i can't afford an iPod)... anyway, 'Fix You' was just nearing the end and we drove past this tree that had all these bunches of flowers surrounding it and tied to it, so im assuming that somebody died there and then just as we passed it, the song ended and it was that last line where chris sings "lights will guide you home and ignite your bones and i will try to fix you"... i just thought it was quite fitting for the situation..

it was really weird because in our little tutor time (free time kind of before lunch) I was listening to clocks with my headphones and a group of girls were playing hangman, and i was just watching them and then one of the girls did a word and the word was clock! I just thought it was really weird because i was listening to clocks...

last night i had a dream about chris and guy it went like this.

 

 

i was staying at a hotel and everyone was whispering amongst themselves about celebrities staying there, and out of nowhere i see chris and guy. i'm thinking "this is totally a dream" lol anyway, i grab paper and pen and discreetly ask chris for his autography. i say "hi, um can you write, [to kathy from chris and guy with love]"

guy had suddenly disappeared which is why he couldn't write his own name.

 

then

 

because i know chris doesn't have a lot of time to spend talking to me and i didn't wanna be some annoying fan lol, i start going "ok well thanks i really appreciate it sorry to bother you" then he goes "you have to go? don't you wanna hang or something? i really don't mind, guy has just abandoned me anyway"

my reaction was like this :stunned: :o :thumbsup: haha it was so great, even for a dream. all throughout he was making funny remarks though i can't remember any specifics. at some point i was attacked by a brown snake (some random event drawn upon my watching the crocodile hunter earlier that day lol) and chris was laughing his head off saying "haha, we should hang out more often" it was hilarious despite nearly dream-dying lol

The other during French I wasn't really paying attention to the teacher due to the fact that she is the worst teacher and I don't like her..Most of what she was saying I didn't really hear until she said Give it time give it space...I automatically thought of Coldplay:D

Our English teacher has a notebook on which there's an inscription... And it's "High Speed" and everytime I see it, I start singing this song... :)
