I find a bunch of new bands, but my first love is Coldplay! :blush:

did anyone ever notice that all new members are TOTALLY obsessed with coldplay' date=' but when they've spent some time here (let's say like ... a year) they come up with a bunch of new bands and don't even have the time to listen to coldplay again.[/color']

Somdays I'm like: "Yeah, I like Coldplay, whatever..." but most of the time I'm like "COLDPLAY! COLDPLAY! COLDPLAY! :D :D :D "

The Killers are the only other band that even comes close.

 

I have a bunch of their stuff, too...but Coldplay still rules my collection.

Coldplay will always be my #1

But as you can tell I will be OK while they have their break.

I always liked other bands, not only Coldplay. And even though sometimes I feel like not listening CP, they still be my favourite. :)

I have also very much stuff of u2 all the albums, much b-sides etc.

But not much bootlegs, but again much dvd's.

And well that's a great band we can't say that it's not. Even you don't like their music they're great.

Also Simply red, i've got all the albums and i love them also ! :D Also a couple dvd's and bootlegs.

But i have the most of coldplay :) And love them the most :D

There are so many great albums that have come out in the last few months I feel really spoilt for choice. Coldplay remain my number one. The Killers album is a real classic but also, Jet, The Rifles , Razorlight, Kasabian, Keane........

The kooks i see them growing also into a great band ! really great musicians :)

And well i'm a music addict so i have so much albums :)

And i also love old artists ! Like stevie ray vaughan, the beatles, etc etc.

the beatles will always be #1 for me because theyre legendary and amazing at the same time. but coldplay is a VERY close second, and then U2, and then Death Cab for Cutie, and then the Strokes. i like a million other bands, but coldplay will always be at the very top, and that says something. theyre the third band ive been obsessed with, but ive been obsessed with them for the longest time. and ill never ever not love them. i get happy just THINKING about them.

Yeah but i hate some artists who can't play music, or can't sing you know. the fake artists.. it's soo sad that they break through.. and some very very very good artists not ..

You know you love a band when you want to buy every single one of their singles even if they don't have any B-Sides on them :P

It's been a LONG day.

I went to his dance that my school had- it was on a boat! The boat road around the water for three hours while we danced and whatnot. It wasn't as great as it sounds. Anyway the boat had two levels, decks, whatever. So at the end of the dance I go to the lower deck and Speed of Sound was playing!This cheered me up a little because I didn't have a very good time.

And on the ride home my dad was talking about how my birthday is right after Christmas and I'll be turning 16 next year. He was like:"Do you want a Sweet Sixteen like that show on MTV???" He was joking, of course, we don't have enough money to rent baby tigers and elephants! Then he said: "You'd probably have Coldplay perform!"

...I would! :D

Oh gosh IF I were to have a sweet 16, I'd die for Coldplay to play at my party...but like that's possible! :P

I wish I'd had a nice dress and Coldplay for my sweet 16...

 

I got a beanie baby from my then girlfriend.

this is kinda weird but it popped into my head the other day... do u think the coldplay guys ever say something thats a lyric to their song and feel kinda strange about it, or even realise it? coz, for example, one time in an interview chris said something about having to go back to square one and i immediately thought of the song but i just thought "does the band ever think straight away of their songs like that?"

 

oh, and at my friends 18th yesterday, her boyfriend was teasing me, once again, about coldplay and his friend was standing next to him and was like "dont tease coldplay, theyre alright. dont bag them out." etc... he just sorta said that they hav alright music and stuff. i was so happy! i was like "thanku!" but hten later that night my friends boyfriend (who, coincedentally, is named chris) informed me that he doesnt really dislike hte band as much as he makes out and that he thinks theyre ok and only teases me about them bcoz he knows i like htem. i was like "thats cool" coz i never really took offense from it.. theyre just not high on his list of 'my type of music'.. he like metal music more...
