  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

That's fantastic! :D I really wanted a physical copy of LRLRL, but I decided to just settle for the online download since so many people want a copy on the "LRLRL Mailing Exchange" thread and there's a limited number of CDs.

I still kinda want one though. :P

I have that but I insisted so much, not only in the tread that then, later many people offered copies to me! :D

Someones going to send me a copy :D

But i don't know when it's coming.. It's all the way in Uraguay :disappointed:

well I don't know the person who's sending very misterious...but something about 2 weeks!

From the Danish X-Factor :cheesy: 01:25

:\ The original is 100000000000000000 times better.

He doesn't sing really bad? I prefer the original, or course. But he's not a bad singer.

But I still hate it when people cover Coldplay songs :P

Well, it's impossible to have Chris Martin's voice. :P

But I still hate it when people cover Coldplay songs :P

Me too :dozey:

He just loves Coldplay very much, and his idol is Chris :P I think that's pretty cool

He even did the pointing to the sky at "the right way up" :P

awwww look at him trying to sing like Chris! :P

he's actually not as bad as most people who cover CP

I just heard the videoclip - and I agree with the above quote: He is not as bad as most people who cover CP. In fact I found this version rather good - much better than expected before I heard it.

He obviously tried to sing and perform like Chris - he was also running around.

The one performing VIVA LA VIDA in a X factor programme 5 or 6 weeks ago caused the original VIVA LA VIDA with Coldplay to make a reentry on i'Tunes on position 8 and stay on the chart for 3 weeks (8, 19, 28).

I would not be surprised if Jesper brings the original Speed of Sound into i'Tunes as well.

I had the best Coldplay morning today! - My morning was going really bad because I had a real French oral exam and so I was really nervous but then something happened that really cheered me up:

I was on the bus (wearing my coldplay T-shirt and whenever I wear it, the radio always talks about Coldplay-very odd.) But anyway Viva la vida started playing on Radio one.

And then after it had finished Chris Moyles said something along the lines of "Ahh I still love this song! Good morning Chris Martin by the way"

And then the other DJ was like, "Do you think he'll be listening?"

And Chris Moyles was like "Do you know what, sometimes he does because he doesn't sleep and he works in the night. So Good morning Christopher Martin."

And then they played an awesome jingle! It went;

"Good morning Christopher Martin"

Other DJ: "He might be up eating yoghurt."

Chris Moyles: "Well he may be eating yoghurt. And also-"

(plays another jingle) "Good morning the rest of Coldplay!"

Chris Moyles: "And if you're a fan of Coldplay-

(plays another jingle) "Good morning fans of Coldplay"

Other DJ: I think we've got every one covered really.

Absolutely made my day and cheered me up!

^ Wow, I never heard that  I'll have to get it on iPlayer or something!!!

My day was quite good re. Coldplay

*We were talking about nitrogen fixation (!!!) in biology, and I couldn't stop thinking of Fix You!

*I decided to do my english talk on Guy Berryman, for obvious reasons - would'v done it on Coldplay, but it has to be an informative talk and I would have put in far too many thoughts and feelings - this could actually be a problem with Guy, come to think of it... :laugh3:

*In the school canteen they started playing Viva la Vida, and my friend jumped when I squealed 'OOOOOHHHH, it's VIVA LA VIDA!!!'

*In history, I saw the word champion and thought of Will :D

*In maths I realised that I sit behind a guy called Chris :laugh3:

*And, FINALLY, in music I was learning how to play Postcards From Far Away!

So my day really was rather Coldplay-fixated (Fix You!) never realised quite how much til now  My days aren't usually that good :laugh3:

^ Thanks heaps :D

It's quite hard but I'm managing - just, with the help of youtube and the sheet music :laugh3:

Its the chords in the left hand! They're so unusual! :O

You can convert it using a special youtube to mp3 converter.
