April 28, 200620 yr AWESOME! Coldplay will be performing in Singapore on 10 July 2006 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium :D Details of the gig, including ticketing will be announced next week. I can't wait to get hold of the tickets. Wish me luck!

April 28, 200620 yr Hong Kong Great news that they are also coming Hong Kong for the first time! Yes, they played Sing in 2001, then Bangkok in 2003 and missed out on us altogether... So now we have the privilege of finally hosting them. Cannot wait. Already have my ticket even though tickets have not been announced yet... connections :D

April 28, 200620 yr Yes, v important to get tickets on the first day - I would definitely line up if I had to. This is not a concert that I am going to miss. No doubt you would do the same. Just one question re: Sing - is there a general admission area in indoor stadium? In HK there are v few concerts with GA standing, mostly reserved seating. The coldplay concert is going to be reserved seating since i guess they can charge alot more per ticket (highest price is going to be $980), but I might even fly down to Sing if I can get a different experience in the GA section.

When i called the Singapore Indoor Stadium to make an enquiry regarding the general admission area for the gig, the answer given to me "There is no general admission, all are reserved seating" Can someone explain what these meant :confused: watermelonc1, it's published in my local paper that they are coming on the 10 July 2006. I guess that's the only date available here, unfortunately not the 19th as you wish cos they will be in another country by then.

April 28, 200620 yr Author Yes it's the 2nd time they are playing in Singapore. In 2001 i was not a Coldplay fan yet. I am a big Gwyneth Paltrow fan and she kind of introduce me to Coldplay. Now they are my favourite band and i love their music.
