kinda seemed like a season-opening episode...

 

i actually had to cry throughout the entire episode. didn't know what was worse... that sam started drinking demon blood for vengence? because he hated the thougt of dean being in hell? and he sort of lost track. he forgot why he wants to hunt down lilith more than anything else.

 

or was it the fact that sam is just so friggin lost?

or that he chocked dean? why the hell did he do that? he was about to kill that poor kid. why choke somebody who's already on the floor?!

what a douche.

 

and what's going on with cas these days? is anna back in heaven?

when the heck will they finally kill ruby?!

 

maybe lilith is the last seal and killing lilith means breaking the last seal, which is why ruby (who is obviously an evil bitch) is leading sam right into lilith's arms so he can kill her.

 

man, it broke my heart when sam hit bobby with the gun.

 

it's gonna be such an amazing face-off.

 

still, i wonder if season 5 will have its funny moments too. right, we love the drama, but i also loved the funny moments, the references to pop culture, the mullet rock. and those aspects only worked when the brothers were together...

The season-ending episode (Lucifer Rising) is ace! Superb acting from Jared and Jensen. Great cliffhanger, makes me look forward to Season 5!

Thats surprising considering there are like 80% percent Dean fans,anyway the movie was fuckin epic in 3-D even though its wasnt really a horror movie.

The new trailer plus interviews are brilliant,I cant wait another week.

ahhhh i haven't been following the convo in here (just stumbled across this thread) but this show is my biggest guilty pleasure!

what's everyone think of the new season?

season 5 is good. i think in the first episodes, the characters seem pretty obsessed with the whole apocalypse thing. however, like in the latest episode (ep. 5), they are back to what they do best: hunting things supernatural. that's where all the fun is, really.

 

however, the impending brother vs. brother conflict is also intriguing. i would like to see how that would progress in the coming episodes.

Isabel knows I love this show. It's the only show on TV with 2 pieces of eye candy for us women. LOL!!

 

Besides the good looking dudes, this show is fascinating. Personally, I hate horror movies and anything scary, but I can watch this show even though there have been times when it can get scary (like in the scarecrow episode from season 1) or gross. Though it can be scary or gross, the show can have some funny scenes or episodes. That scene where Sam gets it in his family jewels is funny, I can't wait to see the episode.

 

With this past episode, I liked how to went back to what the show was actually famous for. I do believe it got off track with the whole Lilith/Devil/End of the World scenario. I know that theme is coming back up but at least they are trying to go back to their roots.

i know what you mean about all the time spent on the lillith/end of the world thing. it is a fantastic story line but it definitely doesn't leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy. Episodes like one from last week and the one for this week (I'm guessing) are just really enjoyable and totally the way they were from the beginning. enjoy :)
